Taihu Lake is the third largest freshwater lake in China, after Pyang Lake and Dngting Lake. Crssing tw prvinces, Taihu Lake is lcated in suthern Jiangsu and nrthern Zhejiang. It is linked (连接) t the famus Grand Canal (大运河), and a number f rivers rise frm Taihu Lake, including the Suzhu River.

Jinci Tianlng Muntain Scenic Area lies in Taiyuan. It is a natinal 5A-level scenic area (国家5A级景区).
As ne f the ldest and largest classical gardens in China, Jinci Temple is hme t lts f buildings frm different perids like the Sng, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. Tianlng Muntain has green frests, clear springs, and huge grttes (石窟).Visitrs can als see many animals and birds there.
Abut Yuncheng Salt Lake
Yuncheng is in the suthwestern part f Shanxi. It is abut 390 kilmetres frm Taiyuan. It takes peple abut tw hurs t get t Yuncheng frm Taiyuan by high-speed train.
Yuncheng Salt Lake frmed (形成) abut 500 millin years ag. It is knwn as “China’s Dead Sea”. When summer cmes, the water f the salt lake shws different clurs. It lks like a painter’s drawing bard frm abve.
Abut Pingya Ancient City
Pingya Cunty is in the centre f Shanxi.It is nt far frm Taiyuan. Peple can arrive in Pingya frm Taiyuan in 40 minutes by high-speed train.
Pingya Ancient City is a UNESCO Wrld Heritage Site (联合国教科文组织世界遗产地). It has a lng histry f abut 2,800 years. It is nt very big, but quite a few peple like ging there fr a trip. Peple can see ld buildings there and the lcal fd tastes gd.

Mrning: We started ur tur with a visit t the Shaanxi Histry Museum. It pened in 1991. And it is China’s first mdern natinal museum. The visit lasted fr abut tw hurs. We saw a cllectin f ver 300,000 things. They tell the histry far frm the Brnze Age (青铜器时代) t the mdern times.
Afternn: Every Chinese knws the stry f Jurney t the West. S, after lunch, we went t the Big Wild Gse Pagda (大雁塔). It was built in 652 AD.It is the place that stres(保存) the bks that Xuanzang brught back frm India. We knew abut the stries f him and his jurney t India there.

Mrning: We went t the great wnder—the Terractta Warrirs. It was built abut 2,200 years ag. The warrirs are still standing t guard the First Emperr f Qin. We were surprised by them.
Afternn: We visited the Xi’an City Wall. It was first built in 1370 and finished in 1378. It is said that it is the best-preserved ld city wall in China. When we walked n the tp f it, we saw the whle city f Xi’an belw. I felt like I was back t the ancient time.
