Teaching objectives:
1. Understand and use the relevant words,phrases,and sentence structures in real situation.
2. Learn how to accurately organise language,finish a series of tasks including oral output writing and revise.
3. Get the ability to give a presentation about the cities or the places,and organise the thinking or language ability to express opinions.
4. Figure out the main topic of this unit—the relationship between human beings and natural environment,and deepen the understanding about tourism.
Evaluation objectives:
1. Ask students to think of and give a presentation about Chinese cities or places they know, and they can use what they have learnt in this unit to design or explain a logo related with cities.
2. Ask students to express their opinions by using some relevant expressions correctly to raise their awareness of culture diffusion.
Teaching key points:
1. Lead students to think of and talk about cities they have been to and design a tourist plan.
2. Enable students to prepare a short presentation for tourists about the place they have chosen.
Teaching difficult points:
1. Encourage students to review and master what they have learnt through the expression of contents and opinions.
2. Ask students to apply and practise what they have learnt in real situations, so as to have a deeper understanding of culture diffusion.
3. Lead students to have a deeper understanding of tourism, and to describe cities in different aspects by using words or expressions in this unit.

Teaching procedures:
While watching the video carefully,please think about how to answer the following three questions.
Q1:Which province is mentioned?
Q2:Have you ever been to it?
Q3:When it comes to this province,what do you think of first?
Look at the three logos on Page 60,and decide which one can be matched to the province mentioned in the video.
活动设计:Watching the video can not only arouse students’ learning interest, but also help them recall the places or cities they have been to.Each group discusses the logos, and tries to identify them.

Draw a mind map according to the following question.

Task 3:Presentation
Choose one city or place to make a brief introduction.Give your presentation in the class,showing your mind map.
活动设计:Input first, and output later.By studying this unit, students write a short introduction on the related topic after learning and reviewing the expressions from words to phrases, to sentence patterns.
设计意图:Apply and practise what they have learnt to describe cities or places, so as to have a deeper understanding of the topic of tourism.
