Analysis f teaching materials
Unit3 is abut fascinating parks and the vide time intrduces a campaign called “BiBlitz: Life in 24 Hurs” in Rck Creak Park, Washingtn, D.C, which activates and rganizes students, cmmunity residents, bilgical experts, university prfessrs, phtgraphers and park staffs t search fr as many species as pssible in the park in 24 hurs. The cntent is interesting and meaningful, making peple understand bidiversity, the envirnment we live in, braden ur hrizn and the imprtance f living harmny with nature. T carry ut such theme activity is t explre the theme meaning f park frm different angles, s that students can have a deeper understanding f the theme meaning f this unit.
Analysis f students
After studying the previus parts, students already knew sme parks, such as Yellwstne Natinal Park(Opening page), Sarek Natinal Park(Reading and thinking), The Nrtheast Tiger and Lepard Natinal Park(Learning abut language), Xixi Park(Discver useful structures), Beijing Olympic Frest Park and theme parks(Using Language), s they have grasped the types, lcatins and features f different parks, and they learned t appreciate these parks with different senses: sight, tuch, smell, taste and sund.
