2.Students are able t write a shrt page fr a wellness bk using the writing techniques learnt in the class

1.Students shuld internalize the vcabularies and phrases abut healthy and exercising and create a shrt passage abut their wn changes in fitness.

Lead in
Activity 1:Predictin
Guide students makes predictin accrding t the phts and title and find ut the tpic r theme.
And then the teacher shws the definitin f a wellness bk.
Pre-writing
A Activity 2: Skimming
Ask students t read the passage fast and summarize the main idea f each paragraph in ne wrd. Guiding students t summarize the prblem-slving pattern which includes prblems, changes and results.
Help students t figure ut that the text is rganized in time rder be finding ut sme linking wrds: always, then, finally.
Shw students the first writing tip: The text is well-rganized with clear structure and linking wrds,which makes the passage mre lgical.
Activity 3:Scanning
1.Read para1 ne mre time then answer the fllwing questins:
What’s Kayla’s prblem?
What’s Kayla’s tne f telling her prblem?
Then lead students t guess the meaning f “g bananas” accrding t Kayla’s wrds and picture n the screen.
Finally teacher shw the secnd writing tip: Sharing yur stries in a casual tne helps narrw the distance between yu and the readers,which makes the passage mre sincere.
2.Read para2 again then answer the fllwing questins:
What changes did Kayla make?
Then finish the utline n the screen and shw the writing technique:make a cmparisn
Finally teacher shw that Kayla made changes in her thinking ways first the changes in actins,at last change in her life,which can help students t understand hw t make sme changes in their daily life.
After that,the teacher shws mre phrases t express similarities and differences t help students finish the writing.Students underline the wrds and phrases used in the text t shw similarities and differences and brainstrm mre wrds and phrases.
