As the COVID-19 cntinues t spread, fficials in China are urging citizens t wear masks in public t stp the spread f the crnavirus (冠状病毒)—and cities in China as well as ther parts f Asia are reprtedly running ut f face masks.
But can a mask really keep yu frm catching the vims? T answer that, it helps t clarify which kinds f masks we're talking abut. The US Centers fr Disease Cntrl and Preventin (CDC) is suggesting that health care wrkers treat it like an airbrne germ that can travel in particles(微粒) r drplets in the air. That means health care wrkers interacting with a crnavirus patient shuld wear a heavy-duty mask called an N95 respiratr(口罩). These respiratrs are designed t fit tightly arund the nse and muth, and, when wrn crrectly, they blck ut at least 95% f small airbrne particles, accrding t the CDC.
But wearing an N95 respiratr is a serius business, says Dr. William Schaffner f the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Health care wrkers wh use these respiratrs are required by law t experience an annual fit test—a check t make sure the mask frms a tight seal n the wearer's face s that cntaminated air can't leak in. Althugh the N95 respiratr is dispsable, wrkers must als shw that they knw hw t put n and wear the mdel that they are using.
While N95 respiratrs are available fr the public t buy, there's n fficial suggestin frm health agencies fr the general public t wear them.
By cntrast, surgical masks—thse cheap, dispsable, gauzy masks that ften cme in blue r green—are less uncmfrtable. But Schaffner says the scientific evidence that "there might be a great benefit fr peple in the cmmunity wearing surgical face masks'' is very, very meager. The general sense is perhaps, but they're certainly nt an abslute prtectin. In ther wrds, they d prvide sme benefit but they're far frm flprf.

    A. Cautius.B. Favurable.C. Casual.D. Admiring.

While N95 respiratrs are available fr the public t buy, there's n fficial suggestin frm health agencies fr the general public t wear them"可推知,作者对于大众佩戴N95口罩的态度非常谨慎。
The general sense is perhaps, but they're certainly nt an abslute prtectin. In ther wrds, they d prvide sme benefit but they're far frm flprf"可知,人们佩戴医用口罩会有很大益处的科学证据不充分。
Bin can a mask really keep yu frm catching the virus?"
I was trubled t learn that millins f peple, mst f them children in develping cuntries, die each year because f water-related diseases.
My inventin is green and cst-effective
Yu culd hear a pin drp as he pened the paper with the winner's name可知,宣布获奖名单时,你甚至可以听到大头针落地的声音。
故选A项。
Mst yung wmen were nt able t cntinue their educatin. If they did, they ften were nt taught much except the French language, hw t sew clthing, and music.
Mary Lyn felt that wmen's educatin was extremely imprtant. 以及 Mary pened a schl fr yung wmen in the village f Buckland.
This schl wuld wn its wn prperty, guided by an independent grup f wuld nt depend n any ne persn t cntinue.
根据最后一段 Mary's effrts led t the spread f higher educatin fr wmen in the United States. Her influence lasted as the many students frm her schls went ut t teach thers.
Even thugh these achievements g back a lng way, mst schls didn't start fcusing n wmen pineers and their achievements until recently.
由第四段第四句It is a cmmnweal (公益) rganizatin dedicated t preserving and celebrating the varius histric cntributins f wmen.

There, yu'll have an pprtunity t find and buy all the necessary sprtswear."
Actually, it usually just takes yu 15 minutes t increase the range f mtin f ur jints and warm up every muscle f the bdy."
I hpe these tips will help yu prepare yurself fr jgging and avid sme serius issues."

I still thught abut that ld dream...
3.根据空后的ne day when there was an Advanced-Age...
My first day f schl finally arrived.
    5.根据My first day f schl finally arrived. sign up意为“报名;登记”;turn up意为“出现;把(声音等)调高”;keep up意为“保持;继续”;make up意为“组成;化妆;编造”。故选A项。
    6.根据后句中的What am I ding? 故选A项。
7.根据空后的will laugh when they see me in class可知,作者此时已经年纪很大,因此怕班里的孩子们会笑话他。故选B项。
故选A项。
A large billbard n the side f the tad with a picture f Kermit the Frg. 故选A项。

7.答案: meaning; As; highest; is marked; t; celebratin; traditinally; is; that/ which; ndles
依据上文中的"the sun rises higher and higher"和"ne f the great turning pints"及常识可知,太阳在夏至这一天是最高的,故用最高级。
When it cmes t...
本句的主语是"eating lychees(荔枝) during summer slstice",因此谓语动词用is。
