Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, born on December 27, 1986, is a Jamaican track and field sprinter who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres.
Not so long ago, most people didn't know who Shelly-Ann was going to become. She was just an average high school athlete. There was every indication that she was just another teenager without much of a future. However, one person wanted to change this. Stephen Francis observed then eighteen-year-old Shelly-Ann at a track meet and was convinced that he had seen the beginning of greatness. He decided to train Shelly-Ann strictly. Their cooperation quickly produced results. At the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Shelly-Ann beat Jamaica's unchallenged queen of the sprint. Widely regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time, her achievements on the track since 2008 helped to elevate Jamaican athletics on the international scene.
Shelly-Ann is a little woman with a big smile. She has the mental toughness that did not come about by chance. Her journey to becoming the fastest woman on earth has been anything but smooth and effortless. She grew up in one of Jamaica's toughest communities known as Waterhouse, where she lived in a one-room apartment, sleeping four in a bed with her mother and two brothers. Waterhouse, one of the poorest communities in Jamaica, is a really violent and overpopulated place. Sometimes her family didn't have enough to eat. Her mother Maxime, one of a family of fourteen, had been an athlete herself as a young girl but had to stop after she had her first baby. Maxime's early entry into the adult world gave her the determination to ensure that her kids would get rid of poverty. Therefore, one of the first things Maxime used to do with Shelly-Ann was taking her to the track and she was ready to sacrifice everything.
When talking about her achievements and legacy, this incredible woman responded that her secret is just staying humble, just knowing who you are as a person and as an athlete and just continuing to work hard. “I don't pay much attention to where I fall in history. When I decide to leave the sport, I want to leave it better than I saw it. I want to make sure that other young athletes can see that you need to work hard, you need to stay humble, you need to stay focused, and the sky is the limit,” Shelly-Ann said.

How to Show Good Sportsmanship
Sportsmanship is behaviour and attitudes that show respect for the rules of a game and for the other players. But how to show good sportsmanship in detail?
Method 1: Interacting with opponents
Don't trash talk. When your competitive juices start flowing, it may be tempting you to call members of the other team names or make fun of them. But you can't win a game by running your mouth, and it only makes you look desperate.
1 . In the heat of a game, it can be easy to lose your temper, particularly if you've just got elbowed or the other team keeps scoring. Don't let your anger affect your behavior.
Respect the other team's effort. 2 , it's important to recognize that they've put in plenty of hard work to prepare for the game, just like your team has. Having respect for the other team is crucial to good sportsmanship.
Method 2: 3
Be a team player. Even if you're the best athlete on the field, you can't win a game without your teammates. Everyone should share in team responsibilities, and do their part to ensure that the team is successful. 4 .
Support your teammates. Being a good sportsman means that you're just as happy with their success as your own.
Listen to your coach. He or she is looking out for the good of the team, and sometimes, that means your role may be changed. Showing good sportsmanship means placing the team's needs above your own, so you should trust the coach's judgement.
5 , but if you just remember to put your team first and respect the rules and opponents, you'll be on the right track.
A.Respect the opponents
B.Control your temper
C.Relating to teammates
D.Showing good sportsmanship may seem difficult at times
E.You shouldn't care about your own performance more than the team
F.Whether they're outplaying you or unable to keep up with your team
G.You may actually be able to learn something from your opponents

Stephen Francis observed then eighteen-year-old Shelly-Ann at a track meet and was convinced that he had seen the beginning of greatness.

She grew up in one of Jamaica's toughest communities known as Waterhouse, where she lived in a one-room apartment, sleeping four in a bed with her mother and two brothers.
Waterhouse;sleeping four in a bed with her mother and two brothers为现在分词短语作状语。
Respect the other team's effort.(尊重其他队伍的努力)。
、Support your teammates.(支持你的队友。)和Listen to your coach.(听你教练的。) 选项C(与队友沟通)符合题意。
选项E(你不应该关心你自己的表现多于整个团队)符合题意。
意见;判断力 5.on the right track做法对路 6.keep up with跟上
appeal to sb. 故填to。
4.which/that 考查定语从句。
Climbing the man-made rock wall构成被动关系,且前面有情态动词can,故填be done。
此处是“It is/was+adj.+(for sb.)to do sth.” 故填to make。
此处是“It is suggested that+sb.+(should)do sth.” 故填It。
