教 学 主 题 | 本板块的主题是“谈论历史与文化”(Talk about history and culture)。很多文化遗产都是旅游胜地,旅游是了解文化遗产的历史和现状的一种重要方式。本板块旨在引导学生在旅游时或从他人的旅游经历中了解中外文化遗产的历史与现状,探究其中的历史文化内涵,能够在口头交际中比较准确得体地进行表达。 | ||||||

教 学 内 容 与 过 程 | Lead-in 引导学生讨论教科书中的红场图片: Are you familiar with the buildings in the picture? Have you ever been to Moscow? What do you know about the Kremlin and Red Square? 展示或播放有关克里姆林宫及红场的图片或视频片段,然后让学生讨论相关问题: What happened in the photo(s) or video clip(s)? Do you know anything about the Kremlin and Red Square? 补充资料: Kremlin and Red Square, Moscow is a Cultural Heritage Site of federal importance. The Kremlin is the oldest part of Moscow, the residence of the President of Russia. Red Square, closely associated with the Kremlin, lies beneath its east wall. In Russian, the square is called “Krasnaya Ploschad”. The word “krasnaya” means both “red” and “beautiful” and the latter, referring to St. Basil’s Cathedral at the southern end of the square, was the original meaning. — UNESCO World Heritage Centre 红场位于俄罗斯首都莫斯科市中心,临莫斯科河,是莫斯科最古老的广场,是重大历史事件的见证场所。更是俄罗斯重要节日、举行群众集会、大型庆典和阅兵活动之处,是世界著名旅游景点。
Step 1 Listening (1)让学生浏览活动1的两个问题,然后播放第一遍录音,学生作出判断,完成活动1。这两个问题涉及对话发生的地点和人物的行为,理解说话者在哪里、在做什么有助于学生整体理解对话的主要内容。 (2)学生快速浏览活动2的任务,然后播放录音,学生记下关键信息,完成填空后互相核对答案。接着再次播放录音让学生检查答案。 (3)结合对话内容,巩固定语从句的用法。本部分听力对话介绍克里姆林宫、红场和圣瓦希里大教堂,做完听力活动后,可以深度使用听力材料,如可以让学生用定语从句介绍听力对话中谈到的古迹。
让学生用此句型介绍名胜古迹,活学活用,巩固定语从句用法。 Step 2 Speaking (1)关注本单元功能项目 让学生关注游客在咨询导游问题时,为了礼貌得体地引起对方的注意、顺利启动对话而使用的礼貌用语。教师提问“Could you take down the polite expressions you hear in the dialogue?”。 Tourist A: Excuse me, but what is the Kremlin exactly? Tourist B: Forgive me for asking, but can you tell me more about Red Square? 继续提问“Do you know more ways to start a conversation politely?”。 I beg your pardon, but ... Excuse me, could you ...? Sorry, I couldn’t help overhearing ... Did you mention something about ...? 教学提示:本单元的功能项目是口语交际策略,属于语用的范畴。对于口语表达来说,不仅要求学生口语表达具有准确性(accuracy)和流利性(fluency),而且要具有得体性(appropriateness),因而根据交际场合的正式程度和交际对象的情感距离选择合适的语言十分重要,尤其是礼貌用语就更加重要。 (2)角色扮演对话 请学生两人一组分别扮演导游和游客,参看活动3中关于轩辕镜(Xuanyuan Mirror)的对话范例,结合紫禁城(the Forbidden City)的图片,自编对话,在参观的过程中就想要咨询的问题询问导游。 在此,可以提供一些语言上的支持。以参观紫禁城为例,可以补充以下对话: Tourist: Forgive me for asking, but what was the Forbidden City used for in history? Tour Guide: Well, it is said that the Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government for almost 500 years. Tourist: I see that you’re looking at that valuable vase. Do you know anything about it? Tour Guide: It’s called “blue porcelain”. Some 1.17 million pieces of art are thought to be stored in the Forbidden City, so it is also called “the Palace Museum”. Tourist: That’s really amazing! ... 让几组学生向全班同学展示对话。可以根据学生的语言水平和生活实际补充更多的文化遗产供学生选择,如在之前文本谈过的长城、泰山或者阿斯旺大坝。 Tourist: Excuse me, but could you tell me what we can enjoy in Mount Tai? Tour guide: There are four marvelous spectacles in Mount Tai, and they are the sunrise, the sunset, the view of the Yellow River, and the sea of clouds. Tourist: Oh, I can’t wait. Step 3 Homework Write a summary of the conversation about the Kremlin and Red Square. Try to use some relative clauses. | 备注 |
