Quebec is an eastern prvince f Canada, with Quebec City as its capital and Mntreal the ecnmic and cultural centre. The name “Quebec” was taken frm an Algnquin wrd meaning “where the river narrws”.
Quebecis is the variety f French spken in the prvince f Quebec, ften called “Quebec French” in English.
Newfundland is part f the easternmst prvince f Canada, knwn since 2001 as Newfundland and Labradr. The prvince f Newfundland and Labradr is divided int tw unequal areas: Labradr is the much larger mainland territry t the nrth, while Newfundland is the smaller island t the suth.
