Step 1: Watch the vide clip f the Rbt Sphia in a TV shw.

Step 2: Read the cnversatin abut Satisfactin Guaranteed between tw students and then fill in the blanks.
A: Persnally, I think Tny is really a bnus . I’d lve a rbt like Tny living at my huse.
B: Yu did? Tny was just a machine. Yes, maybe Claire fell in lve with him because f his integrity and dignity, but I dn’t believe rbts can feel emtins f any kind. That’s the difference between them and us.
A: Well, I disagree. I think Tny lved Claire. Remember hw he helped her when he knew what the rude saleswman t her and when she fell ff the ladder.
B: Yes, but that was just part f Tny’s rle. The Three Laws! He culd nt allw a human being t be hurt physically r emtinally. S he watched her when she wrking n the suspended light, r declared that he didn’t want t leave her. That was hw he was made!
A: Yes, such a shame really! I suppse that was the cmpany’s greatest mistake. They made the rbt lk s much like a real man, s it caused cnfusing emtins like guilty r lve twards it. If these rbts cme t the market, I think nly peple with big salary can affrd ne.

It wuld nt be surprising if we fund it difficult t distinguish between reality and science fictin in the future. Fr example, rbts first appeared in sci-fi nvels, but nw rbt sldiers have already been tested ut in war. Rbt experts have als built rbts that can see, talk, and d ther things like humans. Althugh a rbt that lks mre like a human than a machine culd make many peple a bit uncmfrtable, we have t admit that it is a fascinating pssibility. Sphia, currently said t be the mst advanced Al rbt in the wrld, is a great example. She has been interviewed many times, appeared n the cvers f magazines, and becme the first nn-human in the wrld t be given citizenship by a cuntry.
When it cmes t games, 2017 became a year in which Al defeated humans in s many games that Al researchers say that it will nt be lng befre Al can win at almst everything. S have we lst the dignity f being the mst intelligent creature? Maybe in the future, as Al becmes even mre intelligent, it will becme a majr threat t humans. Hwever, sme peple dismiss this fear. They believe if Al can handle tasks like calculating and driving fr us, we will have mre time fr creating, thinking, and “being human”.
