2. Enable Ss t knw the stry f a teen phtgrapher Mateusz by watching a vide.

1. Guide Ss t analyze the reasns why Mateusz can be s successful in his career and make a summery f valuable qualities Mateusz has that cntribute t his success;
2. Guide Ss t reflect n themselves and apply what they have learnt frm Mateusz t themselves t achieve their wn gals and dreams.

Step 1 Lead-in Shw Ss sme phts and ask them the fllwing questins:

【设计意图】课前导入通过几张主人公Mateusz拍的照片,激发学生兴趣,让学生直观地感受到摄影师拍摄的大自然、野生动植物的美,也是一种美的熏陶,同时引导学生表达看到照片后的感受,最后引出摄影师的基本信息,一切顺理成章,自然亲切,拉近与学生的距离。

【设计意图】引导学生关注视频简介的标题,并鼓励学生探讨标题关键词 “passin”的释义, 加深对这个词的理解,提升学生猜测词义的能力。为降低学生猜测的难度,引导学生回忆之前reading课中所学的一个句子,激活学生原有知识。
