Step1 Lead-in
Lk at the fllwing pictures and talk abut the questins.
What is likely t be talked abut in the vide?
RbBees are small flying rbts that are being develped at the Wyss Institute f Harvard University by a team headed by Rbert wd.

Step2 Befre yu watch
Predict what yu are ging t see. Think and circle the crrect wrd(s) fr each sentence.

A rbtic snake is snake like with lng and flexible bdy. It can nt nly explre Mars but als shuttle the narrw space freely. A rbtic snake culd be useful as it culd carry things acrss difficult uneven surface where wheeled vehicles can’t g. After an earthquake, it can dig int ruins t detect the survivrs s that it is able t deliver fd and medicine t the buried peple, which gives them a glimmer f hpe. It can als be used t repair undergrund pipeline.

“看”作为一种语言能力主要培养学生观察和解读非文字信息的能力。科技领域一直是学生比较陌生并且接触较少的知识块，Vide time以动态的形式展现知识，促进课堂教学的现代化,为学生学习与发展提供丰富的语言教学环境。通过视频“看前、看中、看后”模式，基于学生基础，进行合适的学习活动，让学生在多模态教学中学有所思，学有所得。本课中选取了丰富多彩的图片和视频，更好地激发学生的学习兴趣，对未来科技有探索的渴望。同时，通过Rbert Wd 所说的话中领会到开发Rbbees的多次失败，只有坚持才能成功实现目标。培养学生树立正确的人生观，不畏失败，奋勇前行。
