教学过程
Step1: Warming up
What is the full name f this cuntry?
The United Kingdm f Great Britain and Nrthern Ireland.
回顾本单元内容，从词汇kingdm引出构词法。
Step2: Cmbine the wrds with the ending t frm wrds that yu learnt in this unit. Then use them t cmplete the sentences belw.
让学生观察活动1中的常见英文后缀，然后尝试把这些词缀和前面所提供的词结合起来构成新的词汇，提醒学生注意-ive和-ic是形容词后缀，其他为名词后缀，并总结概括构词法的规则：动词或名词加上名词词缀构成名词，动词加上形容词词缀构成形容词。
让学生利用新构成的词汇完成活动1的四个句子。提示学生可以观察分析句中空白处的具体位置——如果位于主语、宾语或介词宾语的位置，则应该填名词；如位于名词前一般填形容词，让学生从语言实践的角度来理解构词法的重要性。
构词法拓展。教师引导学生归纳之前学过的一些后缀，在复习巩固词汇的同时，掌握一种记忆词汇的策略和方法。
Step3: Review the usage f the past participles as the attribute and the bject cmplement.
(1) 过去分词作定语(the attribute)
过去分词作定语，修饰名词或代词，用来表示已经完成的动作或状态，也可以用来表示被动或被动意义。如：
The stlen car was funded by the plice.
The car stlen last night was funded by the plice.
单个的过去分词作定语时一般前置，作前置定语；过去分词短语作定语时位于被修饰词之后，作后置定语。
2) 过去分词作宾语补足语(the bject cmplement)
过去分词作宾语补足语，修饰和补充说明直接宾语，表示被动或完成，如：
They had castles built all arund England.
Judy had her eyes fixed n Van Ggh’s Sunflwers.
常见结构：have/get/feel/find/…+bject+-ed
（3）拓展过去分词作表语的用法：过去分词作表语，与谓语动词构成系表结构，表示主语的性质、特征和状态。如：
I was excited t hear we wn the first prize.
Step4: Cmbine each pair f sentences int ne using the past participle verb in the secnd sentence.
学生运用过去分词组合句子，进一步巩固和体会现在完成时的被动语态短语的用法。
Step5: Self-reflectin
学生就Reflecting部分的四个方面对单元学习进行反思。提示学生在反思的过程中，除了要了解语言知识，尤其是习语的文化含义之外，更要意识到学习历史和文化的重要意义和价值。教师留给学生充分的思考讨论时间，并适时给予鼓励、引导，必要时提供相关帮助，引导学生正确认识自己的强项和薄弱环节，培养他们自我评价、自我反思和自我改进的能力。
