Yu’ve decided yur child is spiled (被宠坏的),and yu want t d smething abut it. Is it t late? Nt necessarily. Here are fur tips frm an expert fr getting yur child t behave well.
1 Yu’ve spiled yur child by giving him r her t much fr t little. Yu can crrect this by helping yur child t learn t wrk harder fr rewards and understand that nt all gd behavir is rewarded.
2Fr instance, at first, insist that yur daughter put a few tys away befre she gets a snack, and gradually increase the amunt f wrk required fr each reward.
Dn’t verreact t crying. When children dn’t get what they want, their natural behavir is t cry. If yu react every time yur child cries, yu may be denying(拒绝给予)him r her an imprtant chance t learn smething. 3
Prepare fr a fight. At the beginning, children’s demands will increase when they find that parents are nt ging t give them the new tys they want. When it happens,be careful nt t give in just because the child shuts. 4
Stick t the prgram. 5 That’s nt necessarily a bad thing. It means the requirements are getting stricter and that yur child is accepting changes. Remember: Give it time, and dn’t give up.

There were tw German cuples, tw French families, and an American sailr, by himself. They were eating in stny silence except the sailr. He was writing a letter, and a half-smile lit his face. In the cmer a pian player was listlessly (无精打采地) playing Christmas music. All f us were interrupted by an ld French flwer wman thrugh the frnt dr. She had a wrn vercat and her ld shes were wet. Carrying her basket f flwers, she went frm ne table t anther. N ne bught any. Exhausted and frustrated, she sat dwn at a table.
