一、教材分析
本课是七年级上册第九单元的教学内容，是一节听说课。本单元主要学习一周从星期一到星期日的表达方法及有关学科的表达。学习用because和表示品质的形容词来表达理由，学习在一般现在时中when/what/why/wh引导的特殊疑问句。这一话题的学习贴近学生的日常生活，能引起学生的学习兴趣。本课时的重点句型是What’s yur favrite subject ? My favrite subject is --- .和追问原因句型Why d yu like --- ? 以及用 Because --- .说明原因的句式。其中要求学生掌握各科的英语名称P.E. , art, science, music, math, gegraphy, histry, Chinese, English, bilgy, infrmatin, 了解科目physics, chemistry 等。以及描述学科特点的形容词。本课是本单元的第一课时，在整个单元中起着话题导入的作用。内容贴近学生生活，所含功能句都是日常用语，因此课堂任务应侧重培养学生的语言实践能力。
1a - 1c: 呈现都是两个学生在学校走廊里对话的场景，途中还呈现了各个学科上课的场面。活动1a主要呈现话题词汇和基本句型；1b通过听力练习加深学生对单元重点句型和词汇的认知;1c则要求学生联系实际情况进行问答活动，加强教学重难点的巩固练习，并完成简单的语言输出。2a -2c以听说活动的方式进一步巩固和拓展了本单元的学习内容。除了谈论自己最喜欢的科目之外，还呈现了询问喜欢的原因和说明原因的句型。
二、 学情分析
本节课的中心话题是谈论学科以及自己喜爱某学科的理由。在讨论的过程中运用了句型“ Why ---? Because---”以及描述学科特点的形容词。“What’s yur favrite subject ?”虽然是学生首次接触的话题，但这一句型较为简单，易于学生理解掌握。本课话题贴近学生实际生活，在学习本课的过程中，很容易激发学生参与讨论的积极性并产生浓厚的学习兴趣。教师可以采用本课重点句型，通过情景对话或调查活动的形式，引导学生对各科特点加深了解，教育学生对各科的学习要均衡发展，培养他们热爱学习的良好习惯。
三、整体设计
【教学目标】
1．功能目标：
1）会用英语谈论自己的喜好（科目，人物，食物，颜色等等）
2）会用英语询问别人的喜好
3）能用英语阐明自己喜好的原因
2．文化目标：
1）懂得尊重别人的爱好, 明白爱好不分高低主次和先后。
2）尽量使自己的爱好广泛，对生活充满信心。
3．认知目标：
1）词汇： a.掌握各科科目的名称以及描述其性质的形容词。
b. 熟记星期的名称
2）语法项目：掌握 what 和why所引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。
3）语言目标： What’s yur favrite …? Because ---

【教学难点及重点】
教学重点：
1．what和 why 提问的特殊问句及其回答
2．科目名称以及描述对其认知的性质形容词(fun, interesting, bring, difficult, relaxing , exciting)
3．各星期的名称。

【课前准备】
教师准备:准备各科教科书、图片、幻灯片；设计课后巩固练习的幻灯片，制作反应各门学科特征的课件。
学生准备：准备一张班级课程表，上网搜集各科知识的相关信息。

头脑风暴法、多媒体教学法、小组合作探究法、鼓励评价法、自主学习和合作学习相结合。

【新课导入】
Step 1. Lead-in
1.提前准备一些水果，像苹果，香蕉，梨，橘子等， 把他们摆放在讲桌上， 教师拿起自己喜爱的一种水果说I like … and …is my favrite fruit.然后询问学生What’s yur favrite fruit? 由此引出本单元的重点句。
2.播放三段音乐，分别是pp music, flk music and classical music. 当放到他们自己喜欢的音乐时，他们就急需表达自己的意见，想用英语来表达自己，这时，教师可以自然而然地引出本单元的重点句型。
（设计意图:通过实物和音乐让学生迅速热身，激发学生的学习兴趣，导出新课的目标语言。）

教学反思
本节课已经学完了，本人经过思考，认为有以下亮点：
1.本课的重难点教学设计体现了任务型教学的特点，同时整个任务链的设计均以学生的兴趣为主。
2.根据学生的实际，灵活运用各种教学方法，由易到难，逐层递进，始终围绕课文中的重难点，逐步完成各个任务，使每一位学生都参与到活动中，掌握重点，消化难点。
在课堂教学的过程中，课堂任务侧重培养了学生的语言实践能力。
4.听前预测方法的指导，也围绕本课的重难点教学来进行，同时让学生自主学习和合作学习相结合，充分发挥学生的学习能动性。
值得思考和探索的问题：
1.由于学生的认真水平不同，学生个体存在差异，课堂小组活动设计对于部分学生可能比较难，可以根据实际教学的需要降低难度。
2.对于补充的科目名称，有些学生难以快速掌握。比如：bilgy.课堂应给出一定的时间让学生进行反复训练强化巩固。
