Researchers in Califrnia did an experiment in a lcal grcery stre. They setup a stall(货摊) in the stre selling jam. Sme days the stall wuld sell six flavrs f jams, while n ther days it ffered 24 varieties. The results were significant. On days when they sld 24 varieties, they saw a mere fur percent sales rate. Hwever, when they ffered nly six chices, that figure rse t a surprising 31 percent. Limiting chice wrks.
    That experiment perfectly shws bth the prblem and the slutin. Despite the evidence, yu will nt always be able t persuade sellers t reduce chice. The next best ptin is t hide sme f thse chices.
    Unlike a stall in a grcery stre, we have mre flexibility nline regarding hw prducts are displayed. We can highlight sme ptins and hide thers. Fr example, yu culd display the best-selling categries f prducts, while hiding ther grupings under smething like a mre" ptin. If yu are unable t remve ptins, yu can at least get clients t fcus n the mst ppular chices.
