本课时项目的话题为“以具有坚毅品质的人物为话题作报告”。古今中外有许多著名人物,尽管屡遭挫折和苦难,仍以坚忍不屈的精神和毅力挑战自我,取得卓越的成绩。项目内容主要包括讨论并确定话题报告候选人、搜集基本信息、制作报告大纲、完成并分享主题报告等。
教学重点:搜集相关具有坚毅品质的人物事迹,并制作相关人物报告的大纲;
教学难点:通过对具有坚毅品质的人物话题作报告,培养学生面临困境时坚强不懈的精神。

He is Ernest Shackletn.
2. Can yu summarize his stry briefly?
Ernest Shackletn went n an expeditin t Antarctic n the ship Endurance, during which he met a lt f difficulties, leaving sme f his crew members n Elephant Island. Hwever, Shackletn never gave up and finally succeeded in rescuing his crew members.

Based n yur utline f Yuan Lngping, please finish yur reprt.
Recgnized as the “father f hybrid rice”, Yuan Lngping was brn in Beijing in 1930 and graduated frm Suthwest Agricultural Cllege in 1953. In rder t deal with the prblem f fd shrtages due t the severe famine at that time, he made up his mind t study rice breeding.
In 1966, “the three-line matching methd” was first prpsed by Mr Yuan. Nevertheless, it’s awfully tugh t remve stamens manually fr the mass prductin f hybrid seeds, because rice was a kind f plant frm self-pllinatin. In additin, hetersis featured bviusly nly in the first generatin f hybrids, which must be prepared fr every planting cycle.
These difficulties, hwever, mtivated Mr Yuan and his team t research mre. In 1970, they eventually discvered “wild abrtive”. With the develpment f the three-line breeding methd, Mr Yuan cntinued t pursue breakthrughs t make the prcess f seed prductin easier.
Mr Yuan Lngping generates high-yield hybrid rice by prpsing plant genetic theries and achieving practical field prductin. His legacy is nt nly the prgress f hybrid rice — but his curisity, devtin, curage, perseverance, diligence, cperatin and selflessness have left an indelible spiritual wealth t us all.

Finish the reprt n Tu Yuyu based n the utline.
On 7 December, 2015, Tu Yuyu was awarded a Nbel Prize fr her discvery f artemisinin, a life-saving drug fr malaria. Tu Yuyu majred in medicine in university and later studied Chinese medicine with experts in the field.
In 1969, Tu Yuyu was given the missin t set up a team t find a cure fr malaria. When wrldwide scientists failed t find a cure using mdern chemicals, Tu Yuyu turned t Chinese herbs fr help. Despite their limited resurces and hundreds f failed experiments, they fund a pssible chemical. In rder t test the medicine, Tu Yuyu and her team tested the medicine n their wn bdies. They finally discvered the mst effective drug t cure the disease.
Althugh Tu Yuyu has wn the Nbel Prize and becme well-knwn, she is uninterested in fame and prefers t cntinue her research.
