Activity 1 Free talk
Students are asked t have a free talk n the tpic f envirnmental issue.
Resurce shrtage, envirnmental pllutin and eclgical damage are becming mre and mre serius. What shuld we d? Hw can we help reduce the impact f these issues?
(Pssible answers: reduce cnsumptin, supprt sustainable practices, use alternative transprtatin, plant trees and supprt cnservatin effrts, educate and raise awareness...)
Activity 2 Reading the example
1.Ask students t think abut what an envirnmental prpsal is?
An envirnmental prpsal is a type f plan wr recmmendatin, which is designed t address an envirnmental issue r prblem. It is a prpsal that suggests ways t prtect and cnserve the natural envirnment and its resurces, including a range f measures.
Ask students t read the example n page 35 and answer the fllwing questins.
Q1. Hw many parts des the prpsal given include?
Q2. Which part is mst imprtant?
Q3. What language features d yu think the prpsal has?
Q4. What else d yu think can be added t yur prpsal t make it mre cnvincing and attractive?
3. Summarize the features f this prpsal.
Activity 3 Brainstrm ideas fr yur prpsal
Ask students t brainstrm ideas fr the design f their envirnmental prpsals and what t include.
Q1. What is the main envirnmental issue yu want t address? Chse ne frm the list belw, r think f yur wn.
Q2. What small things can peple d in their cmmunity t help? What simple inventins might help reduce the impact f the issue? Use the Internet t help yu find ideas and take ntes.
Q3. Will yu give advice fr peple t fllw? What is yur advice?
Activity 4 Creating yur prject presentatin
1. Ask students t put everything tgether t create the prject presentatin.
2.Then present the prpsal t the class. Each member shuld take turns t explain r shw ne part f the presentatin.
3. The teacher ffers a pssible versin.
Activity 5 Self-assessment & peer assessment
Discuss which prpsals and presentatins were the best and give suggestins fr imprving them.

Cmplete yur prpsal and write a shrt passage (within 150 wrds) fr the presentatin, which includes:
