1. Present the new wrds and phrases: gardening, playing vlleyball, reading a bk, riding a bike, shpping, washing dishes.
Shw pictures f each activity and teach the wrds ne by ne.
Have the students repeat the wrds after the teacher.
2. Present the sentence structure “What are yu ding right nw?” and “I'm...”
Use actins and gestures t demnstrate the meaning f the sentence. Fr example, act like reading a bk and ask “What am I ding right nw?” Help the students answer “Yu're reading a bk.”
Then ask a student “What are yu ding right nw?” and guide him/her t answer “I'm...”
(三)Practice (15 minutes)
1. 1a: Write the activities in the bx under the pictures
Shw the pictures in 1a and ask the students t match the activities with the pictures.
Check the answers with the whle class.
2. 1b: Listen t the cnversatins and answer the questins.
Play the recrding fr the first time. The students just listen.
Play the recrding fr the secnd time. The students listen and answer the questins.

3. 1c: Listen again. Match the questins with the answers.

Read the example dialgue with a student.

2. Grup wrk: Make a survey
Divide the students int grups f fur. Each student asks the ther three students “What are yu ding right nw?” and recrds the answers.
Then each grup reprts their survey results t the class.

Play the recrding f the prnunciatin part. The students listen and repeat.

1. Present sme new wrds and phrases related t the cnversatin, such as "make zngzi", "wash the car", "garden", "have a cld", "feel better".
2. Ask students t predict what the cnversatin might be abut based n the title and the pictures.
Step 3: While-listening (10 minutes)
1. 2a: Play the audi f the cnversatin fr the first time. Students listen and fill in the blanks. Check the answers tgether.
2. 2b: Students read the statements and then listen t the cnversatin again. They circle 'T' fr true, 'F' fr false, r 'NG' fr nt given. After listening, have students share their answers and explain their reasns.

2. 讲解动词现在分词的构成规则:
一般情况下,在动词原形后直接加 -ing,如:play - playing。
以不发音的字母 e 结尾的动词,去掉 e 再加 -ing,如:make - making。
重读闭音节结尾,且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,双写末尾的辅音字母再加 -ing,如:run - running。
不规则动词的现在分词形式需要特殊记忆,如:lie - lying。
3. 讲解现在进行时的各种句式:
肯定句:主语 + be 动词 + 动词的现在分词 + 其他。
否定句:主语 + be 动词 + nt + 动词的现在分词 + 其他。
疑问句:Be 动词 + 主语 + 动词的现在分词 + 其他?
