I and my 5th grade teacher stayed in tuch until her passing. I hnestly dn't knw what I'd be ding if she hadn't dne smething extrardinary. She let my father and me take the Apple hme. I'd spend the weekend prgramming, reading the massive ntebks. This was a $2, 000 + cmputer in the middle f the 80s—the pride f the schl—and they let me take it hme. A year later, I came hme frm schl ne day and the family car was gne and there was a Cmmdre 64 left in its place. My parents had sld the car and bught a Cmmdre.
Nw, I think abut this crazy jurney. I am standing n the shulders nt nly f cmputer science giants, but als heres like my parents and my 5th grade teacher. Thanks Mrs Hill, fr intrducing me t cmputers even thugh yu were breaking rules. Thanks, Mm and Dad, fr bringing a cmputer hme even when there wasn't mney fr ne.
