Step Ⅲ　Writing an invitation

[篇章结构]

邀请信是人们在日常生活、社会生活和工作中经常使用的一种应用文体，要求简短、言辞热情，给受邀者以真诚、亲切的感觉。

邀请信一般包括以下内容：

(1)开头一般开门见山，礼貌而友好地发出邀请；

(2)正文部分通常包括活动的内容(晚会、晚餐、一般的聚会、主题活动等)、时间和地点，有时也可以告诉对方邀请的人员等；

(3)表示感谢，希望对方回复或希望对方按时到达。

邀请信的语言特点：

(1)在语气上礼貌友好，常使用第一、第二人称，多用直接和肯定的语气，避免使用否定句。

(2)在内容表达上直接简练，言简意赅，忌拖泥带水，过分修饰。

(3)正文内容一般根据写信者所要表达的中心思想分段，每段的文字不会过长，尤其是开头和结尾两段，更常以简短为宜。
