一、教学目标
1. 理解并运用which和who引导的定语从句。
2. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。
3. 通过摄影作品培养学生的审美意识和对他人的欣赏态度。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:在合适的情景,正确运用which和who引导的定语从句。
难点:在不同的语境下学会从who,which和that中选用适当的关系词。

设计意图:视频导入定语从句用法,帮助学生复习所学内容。
Step Ⅱ Presentation
Language practice
1. T helps Ss to analyse the structure of these sentences.
He’s the boy who won the photo competition last year!
The photo which we liked best in the City and People group was taken by Zhao Min.
A group of photos which show Beijing and Cambridge in England has won the prize.
2. T gives a general introduction of the attributive clause with that, which and who by showing a table on the slide.
设计意图:老师先带领学生分析这几个句子,然后讲解由that,which和who引导的定语从句,既可以帮助学生总结定语从句这一知识点,又为下面活动1的练习做准备。
Step Ⅲ Practice
Activity 1
1. T asks Ss to complete the poster for the photo competition by using that, which or who.
2. T divides the whole class into several groups according to the number of Ss and asks them to discuss their answers in groups.
3. T shows answers on the slide.
设计意图:学生已经能够区分that,which和who引导的定语从句的区别,完成练习后小组讨论,让学生在讨论中继续巩固练习。
Activity 2
T asks Ss to do the exercises in Activity 2 and shows the right answers on the slide.
Activity 3
1. T shows two photos on the slide and asks Ss to work in pairs and talk about the two photos, containing the people in the photos.

2. T asks Ss to work in pairs to deal with the third part of Activity 3. One S asks a question about
the photos and the other answers the question.

设计意图:进行对话练习,让学生在具体情景中体会定语从句的用法,更好地掌握定语从句。
Activity 4
T asks Ss to look around the class and describe someone or something to their desk mates and lets their desk mates guess what they are describing.
Activity 5
1. T asks Ss to complete the exercise in Activity 5 and shows the answers on the slide.
2. T lets Ss work in pairs to read the dialogue.
设计意图:学生结对合作朗读这段对话可以加深学生对对话内容的理解。
Grammar Exercises
T shows some exercises from the senior high school entrance examination and lets Ss finish them. Then check the answers in the whole class.
设计意图:通过让学生看近年中考题巩固which, who引导的定语从句的知识点,在体验中考题型的过程中加深对该语法点的理解。
Step IV Summary

先行词是the boy,是人,关系代词用who, 也可以用that。
