Unit 2 Repeat these three words daily: reduce, reuse and recycle.

一、教学目标

1. 重点掌握词汇：

(1) Look after them so that they will last.

Step Ⅰ Warm-up

1. Look and say

Step II Pre-reading

Activity 1

1. Ask Ss to look at the pictures below. Say which ways are good for the environment and why.

2. Ss can write down their ideas. Discuss answers as a class.

1. Ask Ss to look at the title and the words in the box.

2. Ask Ss to work with a partner and write down at least three predictions about what suggestions the passage will make.

Step III While-reading

Activity 3

Fast reading

Ask Ss to read the passage in Activity 3 and get the meaning of reduce, reuse and recycle.

1. Ask Ss to read the words in the box, find them in the passage and check meaning.

3. Tell Ss to complete the passage with the correct forms of the words in the box.
