Step Ⅰ Warming-up
1. Free talk: Which wonder would you like to visit?
2. T asks some Ss to retell the story in Unit 2.
设计意图:谈论本单元主题引入复述课文,检查学生对课文的理解和掌握程度。
Step Ⅱ Presentation
Language practice
1. T asks Ss to talk about the tense of these sentences with their partners.
2. T provides an explanation for the tense used in those sentences and shows the answers.
设计意图:先让学生同桌合作讨论六种常用时态的句子,老师再给出解释,更能加深学生的理解。
Step ⅡI Practice
Grammar Exercises
1. T shows some exercises from the senior high school entrance examination.
2. Ss finish the exercises and then check the answers in the whole class.
设计意图:通过让学生做近年中考题巩固复习六种常用时态,检查学生对该语法点掌握情况的同时,也在体验中考题型的过程中加深对该语法点的巩固。
Activity 1
1. T divides Ss into several groups.
2. Ss work in groups and explain the differences in meaning between these five couples of sentences. Each St explains one couple of sentences. When one shares his / her ideas, other four group members should listen carefully and be ready to express the different opinions among them.
设计意图:通过小组合作,学生在交流过程中进行查缺补漏,巩固复习英语句子的这几种基本时态。
Activity 2
Ss do the exercises and then check the answers together.
Activity 3
1. T shows the photo about the Jin Mao Tower and gives a general introduction of it.
2. Ss complete the exercises individually and then check the answers together.
3. T explains the language points in this passage.
4. Ss read the passage loudly.
设计意图:完成对上海金茂大厦的语篇填空练习后,再让学生大声朗读短文,为后面的语言输出提供帮助。
Activity 4
1. T asks Ss to make dialogues about the wonder of the world with their partners.
A: Have you ever visited the Great Wall?
B: Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.
A: When did you visit it? / When will you visit it?
B: I visited it five years ago. / Maybe I’ll visit it next year.
2. T asks Ss to complete the table and then chooses several Ss to present their dialogues in class.
设计意图:学生按照既定内容练习编对话,巩固本课话题表达的同时,更有利于学生的口语
训练。
Activity 5
Ss complete the exercise and then check the answers with their partners.
设计意图:通过对词汇的运用,及时巩固复习本模块的重点单词。
Step IV Consolidation
Ss do some grammar exercises and then check the answers together.
