Look and say.
T shows some sentences and asks Ss to work in pairs and talk about them.

Activity 6
1. T shows two pictures and talk them with Ss.

2. T plays the recording of Activity 6 and asks Ss to answer the questions.

3. Read and complete the table, then check the answers together.

也可跟将来时间,与将来时连用。
例如:
The world population will pass six billion by the end of the twentieth century.

Activity 7
1. T tells Ss to read the sentences and, as a whole class, find out if they can guess any of the answers.
2. Compare ideas as a whole class.
3. T plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to and tell the T if Ss’ guesses were correct.
4. T asks Ss to complete the sentences from memory, then plays the recording again and asks Ss to check their answers.
5. T shows the answers on the slide.
设计意图:让学生根据给出的句子猜测题目的答案,锻炼学生的推测能力,掌握更多的听力技巧。

Module task:Making a photo display
1. T asks Ss to show their photos to their desk mates and describe their photos to their pairs.
Ss could tell a story about their photos concerning what/who is in the photo, and why it is important to them.
The partner could ask some questions in the course of discussion.
2. T asks Ss to write down the main points of their discussion and write a passage.
3. T encourages several pairs of Ss to share their photos and passages in class.
设计意图:同桌相互合作,深入地进行讨论活动,锻炼学生的合作探究能力;巩固学生对本课语言知识的掌握。
