三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Guide Ss to look at the pictures and talk about the person who influenced him/her and how they influenced him/her.
【设计意图】通过展示图片,引导学生讨论对自己影响最大的人,以及如何影响,引入新课。
Step 2 Pre-writing
- Guide Ss to listen to the tape and find out the main idea of each part of the passage.
【设计意图】通过听力,获取信息,归纳文章各主体部分的大意,初步了解文章内容。
2. Guide Ss to read Para. 1 and complete the table.
3. Guide Ss to read Para. 2&3 and complete the table.
4. Guide Ss to read Para. 4 and find out the opinions.
【设计意图】通过分段精读,完成练习,引导学生了解文章内容,感知文章架构。
5. Guide Ss to analyze the structure.
【设计意图】分析文章构架,为后面的写作做铺垫。
6. Show the useful expressions to Ss.
7. Show the useful conjunctions to Ss.
【设计意图】向学生提供可在写作中使用的重点句型和连词,帮助学生有效组织语言。
8. Guide Ss to make some notes about a person who has influenced them most by asking the following questions.
(1) Who has influenced you most in your life?
(2) What does he/she look like?
(3) What is special about him/her?
(4) What has he/she done? Give one or two examples.
(5) What do you think of him/her?
【设计意图】引导学生根据问题进行自我思考,并记下笔记,为后续的写作提供素材。
Step 3 While-writing
Guide Ss to write a passage about a person who has influenced them most based on their notes and the structure.
【设计意图】引导学生在写作架构的帮助下,整理笔记,帮助学生独立完成初稿,实现写作任务的整体输出。
Step 4 Post- writing
1. Guide Ss to appreciate the sample writing.
2. Assess their letters according to the assessment table.
【设计意图】通过范文赏析,点评,引导学生归纳总结写作的好词好句。通过量化评价表,让学生在多层评价中进一步发现问题,为提高学生的写作能力起到积极的推动作用。

Summarize what they’ve learnt in this class.

1. Perfect their writing.
2. Recite Part A in the textbook.
3. Summarize what they’ve learned in Unit 4 in their notebook.
