Step 1 Warming-up
Guide Ss to talk about the war’s damage.

Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Guide Ss to learn about World War II by pictures and questions.
(1) When did World War II break out and end?
(2) Which country do you know joined it?
(3) Which country won the war at last?

2. Guide Ss to look the pictures and learn the key phrases.
