四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Lk, read and answer.
(1) Wrk in grups and try t answer the questins.
(2) Each grup selects a grup leader t shw their pssible answers.
2. Lk and fill in the blanks.
(1) Let Ss read the sentences, lk at the pictures, and fill in the blanks individually.
(2) Check the answers with the whle class.

Step 2 Pre-listening
New wrds
Learn the new wrds tgether.
【设计意图】学习新单词,为学习对话做铺垫。运用音、形、义相结合的方式讲授单词,加深对新单词的理解与记忆。
Activity 1
1. Explain the requirements t Ss and make sure they knw them clearly.
2. Tell Ss t read the wrds in the bx and lk at the fur pictures.
3. Play the recrding. Ask Ss t listen and number the pictures individually.
4. Play it again fr Ss t check their answers.
5. Check answers as a class, discussing what the peple said in each situatin.
【设计意图】通过听力热身,激活学生们的知识储备并预测对话内容,迅速进入听的状态。
Activity 2.
1. Ask Ss t read the incmplete sentences and listen t the recrding again.
2. Ask Ss t cmplete the sentences and then cmpare answers with their desk partner.
3. Check the answers as a class.
【设计意图】通过简单的听力活动,巩固所学词汇,熟悉相关话题, 为单元主体活动做铺垫。
Step 3 While-listening
Activity 3
First, play the recrding and ask Ss t listen and learn abut what the cnversatin is abut.
Then, play the recrding again and ask Ss t read after it.
【设计意图】通过听力练习,训练学生的听力能力以及抓取关键信息的能力。

First, lk at the pictures and say what fd yu can see in the pictures.
Then, check what Betty is making.
Finally, check the answers as a class.
Step 4 Pst-listening
Fill in the blanks
First, ask Ss t read the incmplete sentences and try t fill in the blanks.
Then, ask Ss t read the cnversatin again and check the answers by themselves.
Finally, check the answers as a class.
(1) Betty’s Pizza lks ________, smells ________ and tastes ________.
(2) Betty’s chclate ckies taste ________, and feel ________ in the middle.
【设计意图】通过练习掌握和巩固重点词汇的运用。
Activity 4
First ask Ss t cmplete the sentences with the wrds in the bx and t discuss the answers with their desk partner.
Then, check the answers as a class.
【设计意图】通过填空练习,检测学生结合语境运用目标词汇的能力。
Activity 5
Ask Ss t cmplete the table with the wrds in the bxes in Activities 1 and 4.
Language pints
1. Yur pizza lks s nice.
本句是主系表结构,即:主语+系动词+形容词。
其中lk是系动词,意思是“看上去,看来”,后面常接形容词作表语。
与lk有类似用法的形容词还有:sund(听起来),feel(摸起来),smell(闻起来),taste(尝起来)等。
例如:It desn’t feel cmfrtable. 它摸起来不舒服。
2. I’m afraid I dn’t like cheese.
be afraid后面接that 引导的宾语从句,也可省去that,意为“恐怕……”,表示遗憾、惋惜或因不愿意做某事儿有意让口气显得缓和。
例如:I’m afraid that he can’t cme. 恐怕他不能来了。
3. Well, my chclate ckies are dne nw.
句中的be dne表示“做好了,完成了”。
例如:I am nearly dne. 我差不多做完了。
The beds are dne. 床铺都整理好了。
4. Shall I get the sugar?
句型“Shall I …?”,意为“我……好吗?”,说话人主动提出要做某事,尤其是主动提出帮助时的常用语。
例如:Shall I get sme water fr yu? 我去给你弄点水喝吧?
Shall I help yu t carry the bx fr yu?
我帮助你搬这个箱子吧?
5. ... are yu sure that’s sugar?
be sure为固定短语,意为“确信,相信”,
其后接that引导的宾语从句。
例如:I am sure tmrrw is Betty’s birthday. 我确定明天是贝蒂的生日。
【设计意图】在接触语境之后重点讲解语言知识点,帮助学生加深对于知识点的理解与记忆。

1. Play the recrding and ask Ss t underline the wrds the speaker stresses.
2. Check the answers as a class.
3. Play the recrding again and tell Ss t listen and repeat chrally.
4. Ask sme Ss t read the sentences. Check that they are using an intnatin pattern and dn’t sund flat.
