What: 本课时主要包含包含两个小对话。第一个小对话为Peter和Meimei交流个人信息,第二个小对话为Ella和老师Ms Li 之间的交流。
Why: 通过本节课的学习帮助学生在初次见面的场景下如何和别人打招呼,交流个人信息,加强彼此的理解并建立起友谊关系。
Hw: 对话1通过交流彼此的名字,询问名字拼写,来自哪里以及班级信息,复习了句型May I have yur name? Hw d yu spell yur name?并引入新句型Where are yu frm?What class are yu in?对话2通过Ella和老师的交流复习常见的打招呼方式,引入确认对方身份的句型“Are yu...?”并介绍了对于年龄的询问及回答的表达方式。

1. 掌握以下重点单词及短语:
full, grade, make friends, get t knw, full name, last name
2. 掌握下列句型:

—What class are yu in?—I’m in...
—Are yu...?—Yes, I am./N, I’m nt.
—Hw ld are yu?—I’m... years ld.
3. 能听懂对话内容并获取关键信息并对人物、地点、事件等进行推断,并能运用所学语言,围绕相关主题,与他人进行日常交流。

帮助学生养成良好的交友习惯,培养学生的个人表达能力并提升他们的自信心。

难点:正确使用目标语言全面的介绍个人信息。

Step 1 Lead-in
1. Play an English sng Friends and then ask students sing alng with the sng.

【设计意图】以歌曲的方式导入,让学生跟唱激发学生的学习兴趣,同时通过提问题使学生快速将注意力集中到本单时的主题。
Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Review and wrk n 1a.
(1)Review the sentences f the starter units abut greeting and hw t intrduce neself.
(2)Ask students lk at the sentences in 1a and srt them ut.
2. Predicting.
Ask students lk at the picture in 1b and answer the fllwing questins.
(1)Where may they be?
(2)What relatinship may they be?
(3)What are they ding?
【设计意图】通过复习,激活学生关于问候的词汇,并通过对1a的对话整理为后续的听力奠定语言基础。
通过看图片并回答问题,提高学生的听前预测能力,进一步提升学生的听力技巧。
Step 3 While-listensing

1. Let students say ut the questins sentence f each sentence in 1c.

4. What’s is Ella’s last name?
5. Hw ld is Ella?
2. Make a cnclusin. Let students cnclude the sentence patterns abut asking and answering the persnal infrmatin and add them in the chart.
3. Pair wrk and Wrk n 1d.
Let students wrk in pairs and ask each ther with the sentences in the abve chart. Chse sme students shw in class.
