      1.Help students t learn abut life in space and learn the related sentences r phrases t express their curisity.
      2.Enable students t express their curisity and raise their interest in cnversatins.
      教学难点:
      1. Inspire students t make new dialgues f talking abut life in space.
      2. Assist students t express their curisity and ask questins.
      教学过程
      StepⅠPre-Listening
      Activity1: Review the interview abut Yang Li Wei in the Speaking and Listening part t intrduce the tpic : Talk abut life in space. Ask students t lk at the pictures and items in Activity 1 n page 43 and discuss which f them are necessary fr astrnauts’ life in space. Cllect answers frm the class and ask students t give reasns.Think abut the fllwing questins:
      1.Can it be easily carried in space?
      2.Can it be easily used in space?
      3.Are there ther alternatives t these items which might be mre practical? If s, what are they?
      【设计意图】在学习之前,呈现一些生活用品的图片,让学生讨论在太空中生活是否需要这些生活用品,激活学生的背景知识,提高学习兴趣。
      StepⅡ While-Listening
      Activity2: Listen fr specific infrmatin.
      G thrugh the questins with students and make predictins. Then ask students t listen t the interview and answer the questins. Ask students t take dwn imprtant details related t the questins in Activity 2 in the frm f key wrds and check their predictins.

      2 Hw did he prepare his fd in space?
      3 Hw did he keep himself clean in space?
      4 Hw did he spend mst f his time in space?
      5 What did he d during his free time ?
      6 What did he lk frward t mst during his stay in space?
      【设计意图】听录音获取对话中人物对自己在太空中生活经历的描述,借助读题来预测听力内容,提高学生对听力材料的认知和理解。
      Activity3: Listen fr detailed infrmatin.
      Listen t the interview again and answer the questins by filling in the blanks.

      Activity4: Make a summary.

      Read the listening material, pay attentin t the questins and find ut hw Max asks fr the infrmatin in the interview.

      Activity7: Discussin
      Imagine yu are ging t a space camp and Captain Brwn has been invited t give a talk. Discuss the questins yu wuld like t ask him and then make a list. Yu can cver as many aspects as they can:eating, dressing, living, wrk, research, differences between life in space and n Earth, feels during the jurney t space, special training befre being an astrnaut...
      EXAMPLE
      A: Hey, guys. We are ging t meet a real astrnaut. Isn’t it exciting?
      B: Yeah. I can’t wait t see Captain Brwn! I’ m really curius abut his life in space. I have plenty f questins t ask him.
      C: Such as?
      B: Oh,such as what facilities d they have in space t supprt their daily life?
      C: That sunds like a gd questin. But I’d als like t knw abut hw astrnauts sleep what d they d s as nt t flat arund while they sleep?
      【设计意图】设定特定的场景,让学生积极了解太空中的生活经历,激发出学生主动学习的愿望,提高学生的语言运用能力和对科学的探索精神,有助于核心素养的落实。
      Activity8: Make a cnversatin.
      Wrk in grups. Make up a cnversatin with yur partners with the help f the statements f curisity. Ask students t present their cnversatins t the rest f the class.
      One pssible cnversatin:
      A: I wnder hw they get exercise n space—it’s nt like they can g ut jgging.
      C: I’d never thught f that. But then after they exercise, I’m very keen t find ut hw they wash their clthes.
      B: Never mind that. I’d really like t find ut hw wmen astrnauts wash their hair.
      A: But we're frgetting the mst imprtant questin f all, aren’t we?
      C: And what’s that?
      A: Well, I’d really like t find ut what they d when they meet aliens.
      【设计意图】在语言输入的基础上进行语言输出,使得学生将表达好奇的目标语言应用、创新在新的情景重视,达到本堂课提升交际能力的目的。在此过程中,学生多次进行合作,营造良好的学习氛围。

      假设你是李华,你校要组织太空夏令营,届时会邀请刚执行完太空任务回到地球的宇航员Captain Brwn为大家作报告,请以班级名义给他写一封邮件,要点如下:
      1.大家对太空夏令营和见到Captain Brwn很期待;
      2. 大家对宇航员的太空生活很感兴趣,并提出了几个最想了解的问题;
      3. 希望Captain Brwn能够在讲座中针对这些问题给予回答。
