Prcedures:
Activity 1: chant in chrus with actins
Activity 2:
Play a spinner game. Invite the children t take turns t spin a spinner. He/she has t say the tys in English and whether he/she has the ty r nt. If yes, hw many he /she has gt.
Activity 3:
listen and match: stick the animal prmpt cards n the bard.
Then ask the children t cme t the frnt, stick the relevant wrd card under r beside the animal card accrdingly.
Activity 4:
get the children t d activity I, supprt then with the cards n the bard.
Activity 5:
“Stry time”
Tell the pupils that yu are ging t tell them a stry. Intrduce the characters in the stry by wearing relevant head rnaments.
Set up a situatin fr the stry by brainstrming.
Tell the stry. Firstly, wear a head rnament and a bag accrdingly s that the children can tell wh is wh and understand wh is saying what. Keeping eye cntact with the children is als an effective way t invlve them. Thirdly, using facial expressins, entities, pictures, ding actin can help the children understand meaning.
Tell the stry again, inviting the pupils t jin in. first d it as a whle class. Then in “character grup”
