Teachers shuld guide students t discver and summarize the usage rules f past and future tense by themselves. Teachers act as assistants and supervisrs t prvide students with supprtive infrmatin. Activity 1 Step 1: Students read the tw sets f example sentences, pay attentin t the bld part, answer questins 1 and 2, cmpare the difference between the tw sets f example sentences, the teacher reminds the students t pay attentin t the time indicated by the tw sets f example sentences. Step 2: In grups, discuss and answer questin 3, indicating the psitin f the simple future tense and the past future tense in the timeline. Step 3: Ask individual students t summarize the meaning and usage f past future tense. Activity 2: The teacher leads the students t further understand the meaning f past future tense and master its usage in specific cntexts. Step 1: Students read the passage independently, understand the cntext, and master the general idea. Step 2: Accrding t the meaning f the paragraph, students independently arrange the fur sentences with disrupted wrd rder accrding t the crrect wrd rder, and fill in the crrespnding psitin f the paragraph, s that the sentence f the paragraph is smth and the meaning is cmplete. Step 3: The whle class checks the answers, the teacher asks the students t read the fur sentences in the crrect wrd rder, and then read the whle paragraph. Activity 3 examines students' use f past future tense in real cntexts. The teacher guides students nt nly t use this tense apprpriately accrding t the cntext, but als t pay attentin t the cntext itself, t understand the pssible encunter in the expeditin, t think abut the cuntermeasures, t realize the imprtance f cmprehensive preparatin wrk, and t prepare fr the next activity. Step 1: Students wrk in grups, lk at pictures, and match the pictures t the questins, thinking abut what the explrers might encunter and what questins the interviewer might ask. After finishing the cnversatin, the teacher reminded the students t use the past and future tense prperly. Step 2: Ask sme grups t act ut the dialgue in class.
