In additin t their daily tasks, the brave Mars pineers will als have t be ready t deal with all kinds f medical emergencies. Cmmn clds and headaches may be easy t deal with medicatin. T help them with mre serius issues, like severe skin burns r bne fractures, scientists frm the Dresden University f Technlgy (TUD) have develped a 3D biprinter capable f prducing human tissue in space.
3D biprinters are similar t traditinal 3D printers with ne key difference. Instead f creating bjects frm materials like plastic, they depsit layers f bimaterial, made largely frm living cells, t build cmplex human tissue. Since the raw material is nt readily available, researchers begin by taking a few cells frm the required rgan, such as lung r skin, and cultivating (培养) them in the labratry. Once enugh cells have been generated, they are used t create “biink,” which is laded int the printer.
This, as yu can imagine, is n easy task, and despite trying fr many years, scientists have still nt been able t regenerate human rgans fr widespread use. Biprinting in space has even mre challenges. The biggest is finding cells t cultivate and create the required biink.
The TUD scientists believe the difficulty can be vercme by using cells frm the injured astrnaut. “Using bimaterial frm the astrnauts themselves als eliminates the risk f transplant rejectin,” says Nieves Cub Mate, a biprinting specialist at TUD.
The TUD researchers, wh revealed the first biprinted bne and skin samples, believe that nce develped, the technlgy culd help astrnauts treat acute injuries. Tmmas Ghidini, head f ESA's Structures, Mechanisms and Materials Divisin says, “Carrying enugh medical supplies fr all pssibilities wuld be impssible in the limited space and mass f a spacecraft. Instead, a 3D biprinting capability will let them respnd t medical emergencies as they arise.”
5.What makes 3D biprinters different frm traditinal 3D printers?
    A.The efficiency f wrk.
    B.The principle f peratin.
    C.The prgress t make bjects.
D.The material used t make bjects.

7.Which can replace the underlined wrd “eliminates” in paragraph 4?
    A.Increases. B.Remves.
    C.Takes. D.Assesses.
    8.What's Tmmas Ghidini's attitude t 3D biprinter?
