    Textbook Analysis:

        This unit has the topic of Health problems. To reach the learning goal, the students need to know the expressions for describing body parts, health problems, and giving suggestions. And period one provides them with plenty opportunities to practice their listening and speaking so as to master the expressions and sentence patterns.

    Student Analysis:

        The students have learned words of body parts before, but not all of them. And they must be confused about describing health problems, even how to give suggestions.

        Be able to use the expressions of body part and the sentence patterns to describe health problems and give advice.

    Language knowledge:

    1. To know the words and phrases of body parts, health problems;
    2. To master the sentences for describing health problems and offering suggestions.

    1. To know how to take care of oneself when facing problems;
    2. Be able to care about others and give advice to those who have health problems.

    1. To know the importance of taking good care of ones body;
    2. Be able to get listening and speaking skills for talking about health problems.

    To be aware of the similarities and differences in talking about health problems between Chinese and English

    Match the body parts with the letter in 1a as quickly as possible.

    First, Show the students a short video about health problems and ask:

    Whats the matter with the boy ?

    (from simple to difficult)

     

     

    Then, show other videos or pictures, and have students to make the same conversations.

    He has a toothache.

     

     

     

    Make conversations with ones classmates according to the videos or pictures.

    Setting:

    now and then, we may have these kinds of health problems, then what should we do? Or how to give suggestions to people with health problems? Now let’s have a look.

     

    Play the record for the students , each part twice.

    Then check the answers.

    Finally, ask the students to summarize the ways to give advice.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    First, Listen carefully and finish the exercises.

    Next, Compete to show one’s answers.

    At last, try to summarize the ways to expression suggestions.
