High schl was a hard time fr me in the beginning because I had just mved t a small twn and knew basically n ne. I lved t play basketball but was afraid t g t tryut(选拔) fr the schl team because I didn't knw anyne. One day all that changed when I missed the bus hme and decided t sht baskets n the schl playgrund t kill time. The cach Mr Clbath had been watching me make varius baskets and was pretty impressed with my mves.
He came up t me and asked me wh had taught me t play like that I tld him that my dad had taught me hw t play basketball. He asked me if he wuld see me at the tryut n Friday, but I said n and tld him why. He tld me t have a try because I played very well and wuld maybe make sme friends n the curt. After thinking fr a few minutes, I finally decided t have a try.
On the day f the tryut, the cach came, fund me and helped me practise befre the tryut. He helped me a lt and I did very well at the tryut and many members f the team were quite impressed. I did make the team and ver the next few years the cach helped me bth n and ff the curt. He helped me d my math which I had such a difficult time with and he even taught me hw t live independently.
I will never frget Mr Clbath. He really inspired me and changed my life. I wuld nt be the persn that I am tday if he had nt taken such an interest in me when I was in high schl.
