一、 教学内容:
文本通过Chen Jie 和Mike 在动物园谈论动物干什么的情景,呈现了要学习的主要句型。
二、 教学目标:
1、在教师和图片的帮助下,学生能够理解对话大意,并能按照正确的语音、语调和意群朗读对话,并进行角色表演。
2、学生能够在情境中运用 What are they doing ? They’re ...和 What’s the ...doing ?It’s ...问答某人某物正在做什么。
3、能够在语境中理解新词 bamboo 的意义并能正确发音。
4、培养学生热爱小动物的情感。
三、教学重难点:
重点:1、在教师和图片的帮助下,学生能够理解对话大意,并能按照正确的语音、语调和意群朗读对话,并进行角色表演。
2、学生能够在情境中运用 What are they doing ? They’re ...和 What’s the ...doing ?It’s ...问答某人某物正在做什么。
难点:正确区分单复数,运用句型问答某人某物正在做什么。
四、 教学用具: 多媒体课件,图片。
五、教学流程:
(一)Warming-up
1. Let’s chant
Dancing, dancing, I am dancing.
Running, running, I am running.
Flying, flying, I am flying.
Swimming, swimming, I am swimming.
Climbing, climbing, I am climbing.
Jumping, jumping, I am jumping.
2. Well done. I have a gift for you. Let’s enjoy some pictures. Look, the bear is white, the bear is drinking water. Can you describe the pictures? 3. The students describe the pictures.
4. Animals are so cute, they are our friends. Today I have some other friends for you. Maybe you know them.
(二) Presentation
1. T: Look at the picture. Who are they?
S: Running man
T: Do you like them?
S: Yes
T: I also like them very much. Let’s face to face with them.
2. T: Who is he? What is he doing?
S: He is Deng Chao. He is jumping.
Practice these sentences (One student does action, the other student answers the question):

3. T: What are they doing?
S: They’re…
Teacher shows pictures, let students answer “What are they doing?”
4. Practice in pairs.
A: What are they doing?
B: They’re _______.
5. Do you want to be a running man and play with them in the future? Now let’s relax “play a game 击鼓传花”
6. The game is very funny. Animals want to join us. Do you want to play with them? OK, let’s look at what are they doing?
(1). Watch the video
(2). One more time, then answer the questions:
What are the pandas doing?
What is the little monkey doing?
What is the elephant doing?
(3).Read the dialogue. Which group is the best?
(三) Consolidation and extension
1. Let students use these sentences and pictures make a new dialogue.

……
2. We know animals are so cute, running man are so funny, they have a story. Let’s read the story in group and finish the judge.
3. Indeed, there are lots of people kill animals for money or meat. Let’s think how should we get along with them? Then make a new drama in your group.
4. All of you have a loving heart. Let’s enjoy a video.
Human and animals are friends. We should protect them.
(四) Homework
Propaganda animal protection consciousness to your family and friends, and show your small drama.(向你的家人和朋友宣传爱护和保护动物的意识,并展演你们的小短剧.)
