一、教材内容分析

本单元以“现在进行时”为主题，编排相关的短语及句型。内容紧密联系学生的生活实际，学生有话可说。通过本单元的学习，学生能够在语境中准确使用本单元的重点句型：what +be+doing? He/she/they/I/ you/ it +be +V-ing，以及现在进行时一般疑问句的提问和回答；本单元Part B的部分重点是祈使句，包括肯定形式和否定形式，让学生体会在不同的场合应该注意的礼节。本节课是本单元的第3课时。教学内容主要是学-wh这个字母组合发音的两种规律，学习字母组合在单词中的拼读方法，进而掌握字母组合在句子中和阅读中拼读的方法。

二、教学目标

（一）语言能力：

1. 学生能听懂录音，感知和发现字母组合wh在单词中的不同发音以及掌握发音技巧。

2. 学生能结合wh在单词中的发音规律,流畅地朗读chant,进行自主阅读。

（二）学习能力：

1. 学生能根据wh发音规律，读出符合规律的单词,即见词能读。

2. 学生能根据单词的读音，拼写出符合wh发音规律的单词,即听音能写。

3. 学生能借助wh发音规律朗读含有wh词汇的小短文。

（三）思维品质：

1. 引导学生感知、探寻并验证读音规则，体现学生主观能动性；

2. 引导学生活学活用，运用拼读规则读、写单词，体现学习策略的达成。

2. 引导学生通过朗读chant和小短文，将拼读策略迁移应用于阅读。

（四）文化品质：

学生能够使用问句进行准确提问并获取信息。

三、教学重难点

（一）重点：通过学习，让学生感知和发现字母组合wh在单词中的发音规律，尝试拼读单词，把拼读策略运用到句子和短文的阅读中。

（二）难点：借助读音规律实现“见词能读”、“听音能写”的目标。

复习前面一个单元所学的知识，激发学生学习的兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。

Show pictures. Ask some questions with what/ who/ where/when/ why/ how to get more information

展示人物和图片，引起学生的兴趣，通过提问wh-的问题也引出本节课的教学重点单词wh-开头的单词。

Presentation

1. Presentation of wh-/w/

(1)  Show some words with wh-  (what /when /where) and help the Ss to find out the pronunciation of wh-.

(2)  Help the Ss to practise the sound of wh-.

(3)  Show more words with wh-, and ask Ss to practice blending them.

(4) play a chant.

1. Presentation of wh-/w/

(1)Find out the same letter combination wh- and its pronunciation.

(2)Practise the sound of wh- /w/ with the help of teacher.

(3)Try to blend more words with wh-/w/, such as why, wheel, which, white, while, whale, wheat, whether, whisper, whim, whip...

(4)Listen and follow the chant.

呈现wh-字母组合:

1. 呈现带有wh-组合的单词，学生通过老师的引导，感受发音规律。

2. 老师展示wh-的发音要领，使得学生更清晰地掌握wh-的发音规律。
3. 通过让学生自己拼读一些课外的常见词,巩固拼读方法，提升拼读的实际应用能力，即见词能读。
4. 听读chant小结wh-/w/的发音，并引出wh-/h/发音的单词。

2. Presentation of wh-/h/

(1)Show some words with wh- ( who / whose) and help the Ss to find out the pronunciation of wh-.

(2)Help the Ss to practise the sound of wh-.

(3)Show more words with wh- and ask Ss to blend them.

(1)Find out the same letter combination wh- and its pronunciation.

(2)Practise the sound of wh-.

(3)Try to blend the words with wh-, such as whom, whole, whoever, wholly.

呈现wh-/h/的单词:

1.呈现wh-/h/发音的单词，学生通过老师的引导，感受发音规律。

2.清晰地掌握wh-的发音要领。

3.通过让学生自己拼读一些常见词,巩固拼读方法，提升拼读的实际应用能力，即见词能读。

Practice

1. Play a game with Ss to practise their ability of segmenting words with wh- with different pronunciation/w/and/h/. “Fishing game”
2. Show some word puzzles and tell Ss to find out as many words begin with wh- as possible.

3.Help Ss to finish the task on P60.

1.Listen to the teacher and segment the words.
