Mathew White, an envirnmental psychlgist, is n a missin t give Mther Nature the respect he thinks she deserves when it cmes t human health. Fr decades, scientists and health care prfessinals have recgnized that expsure t green spaces, such as public parks r frests, is linked with lwer risks f all srts f illnesses cmmn in the wrld. Experimental wrk has demnstrated varius physilgical respnses that ccur when peple spend time in natural envirnments: bld pressure drps, the heart rate decreases, immune functin imprves, and the nervus system directs the bdy t rest and digest.
As humans increasingly ppulate urbanized areas, they are spending less and less time in natural envirnments. But befre dctrs can start advising their patients t head t the nearest park, there is an imprtant utstanding questin, says White: Hw much time in nature d yu need t generate these apparent benefits? Mst f the research that has linked health utcmes with expsure t the natural wrld didn't use frequency r duratin f park visits, but rather the amunt r green space within a certain distance f a persn's hme, White says. But “it's nt s much where yu live; it's whether yu use it r nt.”
S he cllected data t estimate what dse (剂量) f nature was needed t shw benefits t a persn's health. White's grup fund the answer he was after: Spending at least tw hurs in nature per week was strngly crrelated with selfreprts f being in gd health r having a high level f wellbeing. “I was very surprised, t be hnest,” said White, wh had been expecting a much lnger time. “We had n idea that such a clear threshld f time per week wuld emerge frm the data.”
He was further surprised t learn that it didn't seem t matter hw many trips t a park peple tk, s lng as they gt in their tw hurs per week. It culd be a lng visit ne day, a cuple f hurlng trips, three visits f 40 minutes, r fur halfhur excursins. He and his clleagues speculate that, if nature's apparent health benefits are a result f being able t destress, then whatever pattern f green space expsure fits ne's schedule is prbably the best way t achieve that gal.
Health care recmmendatins fr peple t spend time in nature are prbably years away, but the mvement has begun. Several rganizatins arund the wrld are wrking t prmte awareness f nature's cntributin t health. Sme researchers have used the term “a dse f nature” t evaluate the amunt f expsure needed t gain benefits. “That was kind f the deliberate medicalizatin f the language arund nature and health,” said White.
    4.White's research fcused n C .
    A.required amunt f green space
B.benefits frm the expsure t nature
C.necessary time length f nature visits
    D.physical respnses t utdr activities
根据第三段中的“S he cllected data t estimate what dse (剂量)f nature was needed t shw benefits t a persn's health.”
5.What des the underlined phrase “threshld f time” in Paragraph 3 prbably mean? B
    A.Maximum time. B.Minimum time.
    C.Adequate time. D.Average time.
根据第三段中的“Spending at least tw hurs in nature per week”和画线词组前的“such”可知,“such a clear threshld f time”指上文提到的在大自然中至少度过两个小时。
6.Frm the last paragraph, we can infer that White A .
A.is cnfident f finishing his missin
B.is willing t cperate with thers
C.has persuaded thers t accept his idea
D.has adpted the term fr his research result
根据最后一段中的“That was kind f the deliberate medicalizatin f the language arund nature and health”可知,怀特认为一些研究人员使用的术语“a dse f nature”能描述自然与健康,由此可知,怀特确信能完成自己的任务(当涉及健康时,给予大自然应得的尊重)。故选A。
7.What's the best title fr the passage? B
    A.Respect fr Nature
    B.Nature as Medicine
    C.A Present frm Nature
    D.A Missin in Nature

G.It's filled with trendy clthes fr girls and bys t help students lk their best.
2.此处承接下文中的“The schl let her use a rm fr the prject.”,由此可推知,学校对Chle的这一举动予以支持。
4.根据下文中的“Many peple frm the schl's cmmunity and neighbring schls dnated used and new clthes.”
5.此处承接下文中的“Then,they will be better able t fcus n the learning material rather than paying t much attentin t what they are wearing”,由此可推知,只有满足学生的基本需求,比如衣物,他们才能集中注意力学习而不是过多地关注穿着。
Many f us were raised with the saying“Waste nt, want nt.”Nne f us,hwever, can 1.cmpletely (cmplete)avid waste in ur lives.

make a big difference“有大的影响”。
be devted t中t是介词。
play a part in“在……
It is time fr sb.t d sth,“是时候做某事了”。
    假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文,请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。文中共有10处错误,每句中最多有两处。错误涉及一个单词的增加,删除或修改。
    增加:在缺词处加一个漏字符号(∧),并在其下面写出该加的词。
    删除:把多余的词用(\)划掉。
    修改:在错的词下画一横线,并在该词下面写出修改后的词。
    注意:1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词;

Tired as we were, we felt satisfying as ur cmmunity lked clean and tidy. This experience ffered me sense f achievement, which culd t benefit me fr a lifetime.
Last Sunday, when I eq \(walk,\s\d8(walked)) the dg, I nticed a pster abut
the vlunteer eq \(wrks,\s\d8(wrk)). It interested me eq \(such,\s\d8(s)) much that I shared the news with my family eq \(excited,\s\d8(excitedly)). After a heated discussin, we agreed n trash picking and then eq \(they,\s\d8(we/I)) made sme trash baskets ut f bamb. eq \(Carried,\s\d8(Carrying)) thse baskets, we went dwnstairs eq \(but,\s\d8(and)) jined the cleaners in picking up the trash. Tired as we were, we felt eq \(satisfying,\s\d8(satisfied)) as ur cmmunity lked clean and tidy. This experience ffered me eq \(∧,\s\d8(a))sense f achievement, which culd t benefit me fr a lifetime.
