Step 2 Grammar Fcus
1. Review the grammar bx. Ask students t say the questins and answers.
Ask students t circle these wrds in the grammar fcus sectin f their bks: such as: n, acrss frm, next t, between…
2. Ss read the sentences f Grammar Fcus.
3. Give Ss six mre minutes t try t remember the sentences.

Step 3 Practice
Lk at 3a, pay attentin t the questins in the bx. Ask students t read it ut lud. Lk at the map and answer the questins.
1. Where is the bank?
2. Is there a restaurant n Nrth Street?
3. Where’s the pay phne?
4. Where’s the pst ffice?
5. Is there a hspital near the pay phne?
Learn by heart the fllwing phrases, write them dwn n the bk.
1）in the neighbrhd在附近地区 2）g straight 直走
3）turn left 向左转 4）turn right 向右转
5）n the left 在左边 6）n the right在右边
Lk at 3b. Ask the students t pay attentin t the picture f 3a and write three sentences.
Step 4 Guessing game
Ask the students t the picture in 1a n page 43. Then ask students t name all the buildings in the picture. Have the students wrk in grups. One persn chses a building in the picture f 1a, but desn't tell anyne which building it is. The thers ask questins like thse in the activity 3c until they guess which building it is. Several students can take turns t chse the building, the thers will guess.
