一、教学目标
1. 复习并掌握本模块的重点单词、短语。
2. 能掌握本模块的重点句型。
3. 能够运用动词不定式作宾语补足语和目的状语的用法。
4. 能够制定计划,建立野生动物保护俱乐部。
5. 通过让学生了解世界上越来越多动物正处于濒临灭绝的状态,增强学生的环境保护意识,提高保护动物、保护环境的自觉性。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:
1. 掌握本单元的单词、短语、句型及语法。
2. 运用动词不定式作宾语补足语和目的状语的用法。
难点:制订一个建立野生动物保护俱乐部的计划。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体设备和课件;
2. 设计课后巩固练习;
3. 教学图片。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Revisin
Practice and review the grammar.
【设计意图】通过练习检测学生对于本模块语法的掌握情况。
Step 2 Warming-up
Lk at the pictures and talk abut them.
【设计意图】通过对阅读话题进行讨论来激发学生的表达欲望,锻炼学生口语表达能力。
Step 3 Practice
1. Listen and cmplete the pster.
2. Listen again and answer the questins.
【设计意图】听力活动考查学生听并提取主要信息的能力,同时也为制订“建立野生动物保护俱乐部”的计划做了一定的语言铺垫。
3. Read the sentences after the email with the class and ask Ss t predict what infrmatin is missing.
4. Ask Ss t read thrugh the email quickly and underline any infrmatin that helps them chse the crrect answer.
5. Get Ss t chse the crrect answer n their wn.
6. Ask them t check answers in pairs.
7. Elicit answers in full sentences frm the whle class.

8. Shw Ss the pictures f blue whale and wild Bactrian camel. Read the infrmatin with the class.
9. Read the passage.

(1) I am having a great time here in the suth f England.
我现在在英格兰南部玩得很开心。
have a great time 意为“玩的开心,过得愉快”。同义短语还有:have a gd time, have fun, enjy neself。
(2) Many animals arund the wrld are in danger.
全世界的很多动物都濒临灭绝。
arund the wrld 意为“环游世界;世界各地;全世界”。同义表达有:all ver the wrld。
【设计意图】学习本课时的语言点,帮助学生系统地掌握新知识。

Step 3 Prductin
1. Put Ss in grups f 3~4 and ask them t discuss and make ntes abut the club frm the fur aspects.
2. G arund the class mnitring and making suggestins. Make sure the Ss have all the infrmatin in their ntes.
3. Tell Ss t use their ntes and the infrmatin they have decided in Activity 10 t make a pster abut the club.
4. Encurage Ss t find ut as much infrmatin abut the animals they want t help as pssible. Tell them t add the infrmatin t the pster and illustrate the pster with pictures and whatever they want t attract attentin. They can refer t the infrmatin.
5. Nminate sme grups t present their psters t the rest f the class.
