      In early 2024, a team f 15 scientists frm different cuntries started a three-mnth explratin in the Amazn rainfrest. Their gal was t study the effects f climate change n the rainfrest’s ecsystem and find new plant species fr medicine.
      The team set up a base camp in the central part f the Amazn rainfrest. Daily, they split int small grups fr research:sme measured temperatures and rainfall, thers studied tree grwth and animal behavir, and btanists (植物学家) searched fr new plant species-walking thrugh dense frests, climbing hills, crssing rivers, and smetimes cutting thick bushes with machetes (砍刀).
      During the explratin, they made key discveries: 12 new plant species (including a flwer with bacteria-killing chemicals), slwer grwth f sme trees due t higher temperatures, and a 15% drp in certain bird species ver five years.
      They als faced challenges: ht and humid weather, many msquites and insects, and ccasinal (偶尔的) equipment truble (which they fixed with their tls). Once, a scientist was bitten by a pisnus snake, but luckily the team’s dctr gave prper treatment.
      In April 2024, the team finished the explratin and returned hme. They planned t write a reprt t share findings glbally, hping t help peple understand the need t prtect the Amazn rainfrest.
