      When the bell rang, Matt entered the classrm with a heavy heart. “Hey, Matt,” his best friend Tm greeted him. He and Tm were in the schl’s basketball team. “Why the lng face? Are yu still feeling blue abut Saturday night’s game?” Tm asked.

      3、 I’m really srry abut letting everybdy dwn. 我真的很抱歉让大家失望了。
      everybdy是单数‌。虽然它意为“大家”,但语法上强调每个个体,因此被视为单数,谓语动词需用单数形式。
      everybdy‌ 主要用于‌肯定句‌,表示“每个人”或“所有人”,强调整体。
      (1)‌肯定句‌:这是 ‌everybdy‌ 最常见、最标准的使用场景。

      (2)‌否定句‌:‌everybdy‌ 本身‌不直接用于表达全盘否定‌。若需否定,通常用 ‌nt everybdy‌,此时表示‌部分否定‌(即“并非每个人”),而非完全否定。

      引导让步状语从句,相当于althugh,二者均不能和but连用。
