The teaching target is high schl freshmen with a certain vcabulary fundatin, but reading ability and self-directed learning ability need t be imprved.They have sme knwledge abut English expressin and have mastered sme basic reading methds and skills.They shw difficulty in guessing the meaning f sme English expressin and lack sme backgrund infrmatin abut English.They shw keen interest in learning English expressin and willing t explre the diversity f the language.
