表示 “两者中的任何一个”,用于肯定句作主语:Either f the bks is interesting. 这两本书中的任何一本都很有趣。作宾语:Yu can chse either. 你可以选择两者中的任何一个。作定语:Yu can take either rad. 你可以走两条路中的任何一条。 要么…… 要么……;或者…… 或者……
表示 “两者都不”,是否定意义作主语:Neither f them is a teacher. 他们两个都不是老师。作宾语:I like neither f the mvies. 这两部电影我都不喜欢。作定语:Neither bk is mine. 这两本书都不是我的。 既不…… 也不……
表示 “三者或三者以上都不”,可指人也可指物。常与 f 连用,作主语时,谓语动词可用单数也可用复数作主语:Nne f the students has/have finished the hmewrk.学生们都没有完成作业。作宾语:I have many friends, but nne f them can help me nw.我有很多朋友,但现在他们中没有一个能帮我。
表示 “两者都”,用于肯定句作主语:Bth f them are gd at English.(他们两个都擅长英语。)作宾语:I like bth f the paintings.(这两幅画我都喜欢。)作定语:Bth sisters are dctrs.(姐妹俩都是医生。) …… 和…… 都;既…… 又……
表示 “三者或三者以上都”,可指人也可指物。作主语时,若指人,谓语动词用复数;若指物,谓语动词用单数作主语:All f the students are here. 所有的学生都在这儿。作宾语:I knw all f them. 他们我都认识。作定语:All the bks are mine. 所有的书都是我的。
两者都有 “也” 的意思,但 t 用于肯定句,either 用于否定句。I like swimming. He likes swimming t. 我喜欢游泳。他也喜欢游泳。I dn't like running. She desn't like running either. 我不喜欢跑步。她也不喜欢跑步。
neither 与 either
either 表示 “两者中的任何一个”,强调个体;bth 表示 “两者都”,强调整体。Either f the bys can play the pian. 两个男孩中的任何一个都会弹钢琴。Bth bys like playing basketball. 两个男孩都喜欢打篮球。
neither 表示 “两者都不”,否定意义either 表示 “两者中的任何一个”,肯定意义Neither f the ptins is suitable. 两个选择都不合适。Either f the bks is interesting. 两本书中的任何一本都很有趣。
neither 用于两者之间的否定nne 用于三者或三者以上的否定Neither f the twins likes math.这对双胞胎都不喜欢数学。Nne f the students in the class likes the bring mvie.班里没有一个学生喜欢这部无聊的电影。
