①讲述故事 ( tell / narrate / relate a stry)
②分享经验 (share an experience)
③纪念人物 (remember a persn)
④阐明道理 (cmmunicate an idea / cnvey a message)
5W(what, wh, when, where, why)要素。
特别是解答推论或暗指类的题目,比如“What can be inferred frm …?”或是What des the authr imply in…?”
设问方式以“Which f the fllwing best ”等引出问题。
24. What d sme f Farber’s cwrkers think f him?

因果关系的语境通常由because, s, thus, therefre, as a result f, s that, 等标志词体现。
体现对比关系的词语很多,常见的有but, yet, hwever, while, unlike, instead f, n the ther hand, rather than, n the cntrary等。
常见的表示同义关系的词或短语有and, r, like, as well, similarly, t, als, either等。

This unbeatable price-pint encuraged me t experiment with dzens f titles that I wuld never nrmally cnsider buying. And I’ve discvered sme great bks!

When peple ask me nw why I’m nt an Instagram user, I usually give a general respnse like, “I’m nt really a scial media persn.” But the true reasns are mre cmplicated.
Fr a while, I quite liked this. I didn’t have t bther cultivating a perfect prfile, and culd enjy a sense f mral superirity believing I didn’t buy int the same image-driven sciety as ther teenagers. It’s true that I appeared t care less abut ppularity than sme f my peers — if nly because I’d always been n the utside lp. Admittedly, this may als be a reflectin f my fixatin n smething else at schl: studying. My satisfactin did nt cme frm scial media likes, but frm teacher reprts and test papers.

Aside frm a small circle f friends (frtunately, extremely gd nes), I felt that peple generally did nt knw me, r even knw f me, and I didn’t knw them. The latter may reveal hw deep-rted scial media has becme in ur times.
Fr better r fr wrse, I did take a different rute. I never created a scial media presence. I never psted phts. I never watched hw many likes they gt. Whichever path I might have gne dwn, there are psitives and negatives t bth. But this is the chice I tk. And that has made all the difference.
