①讲述故事 ( tell / narrate / relate a stry)
②分享经验 (share an experience)
③纪念人物 (remember a persn)
④阐明道理 (cmmunicate an idea / cnvey a message)
5W(what, wh, when, where, why)要素。
特别是解答推论或暗指类的题目,比如“What can be inferred frm …?”或是What des the authr imply in…?”

因果关系的语境通常由because, s, thus, therefre, as a result f, s that, 等标志词体现。
体现对比关系的词语很多,常见的有but, yet, hwever, while, unlike, instead f, n the ther hand, rather than, n the cntrary等。
常见的表示同义关系的词或短语有and, r, like, as well, similarly, t, als, either等。

根据第三段中“At schl, as at university, it partly cntributed t my status as a wallflwer. Abve all, it was islating. Aside frm a small circle f friends (frtunately, extremely gd nes), I felt that peple generally did nt knw me, r even knw f me, and I didn’t knw them.(在中学,就像在大学一样,这在一定程度上促成了我作为wallflwer的地位。 故选A项。
根据第四段中“In sme ways, I feel that it has genuinely bettered my utlk n life, enabling me t resist cnstant cmparisn with thers(在某些方面,我觉得它确实改善了我的人生观,使我能够抵制不断与他人比较)”可知,作者认为没有使用Instagram等社交媒体使自己能够抵制与他人不断的比较,由此可推断使用Instagram可能会导致与他人不断比较。

根据文章第三段“I wanted t let my wn anger g after this ridiculus exchange. But the mre I thught abut it, the angrier I gt. I was angry that he yelled at a mther in frnt f tw kids. 故选A。
