一、Teaching Objectives
1. By the end f this assessment, students will be able t self-evaluate their
understanding and applicatin f the key knwledge and skills cvered in this unit.
2. Students will be able t reflect n their learning prgress and identify areas that
need further imprvement.
3. Encurage students t take respnsibility fr their wn learning and develp a
sense f autnmy.

1. Review and cnslidate the new wrds, phrases and grammar structures learned
in this unit.
2. Enable students t apply the language knwledge t practical cmmunicatin
and writing tasks.
三、Teaching Difficult Pints
1. Help students accurately use the future tense (will and be ging t) t describe
future events.
2. Guide students t express their ideas abut helping the cmmunity and creating a
friendly neighburhd in clear and cherent English.
四、Teaching Methds
1. Self-assessment: Students will cmplete the assessment tasks independently t
evaluate their wn learning.
2. Peer Assessment: Students will exchange and assess each ther's wrk t
prmte mutual learning and imprvement.
3. Teacher Feedback: The teacher will prvide feedback and guidance t help
students crrect mistakes and enhance their understanding.
五、Teaching Prcedures
Step 1: Warming-up (5 minutes)
1. Greet the students and have a brief chat abut their recent experiences in the
cmmunity.
2. Ask a few questins related t the unit, such as "What have yu learned abut
helping the cmmunity?" r "Can yu give an example f a friendly neighburhd?"
Step 2: Intrductin f Assessment Tasks (5 minutes)
1. Present the assessment sheet t the students and explain the assessment criteria
and requirements.
2. G thrugh each item n the assessment sheet and clarify the expectatins fr
students. Fr example:
- "Fr the first item, I want yu t think abut the different ways yu knw t help
yur cmmunity and write them dwn. Remember t be specific and detailed."
- "When it cmes t using will and be ging t crrectly, pay attentin t the
cntext and the meaning yu want t express."
Step 3: Self-assessment (10 minutes)
1. Students wrk independently t cmplete the self-assessment sectin f the
assessment sheet.
2. Encurage them t be hnest and reflective in their evaluatins. Remind them t
refer t their class ntes, exercises and hmewrk t recall their learning.
Step 4: Peer Assessment ( 5 minutes)
1. Students exchange their assessment sheets with a partner.
2. Instruct them t carefully read and assess their partner's wrk based n the given
criteria. They shuld prvide cnstructive feedback and cmments.
3. While students are cnducting the peer assessment, the teacher circulates arund
the classrm t mnitr and ffer assistance if needed.
Step 5: Sharing and Discussin (10 minutes)
1. Invite several pairs f students t share their assessment results and feedback
with the class.
2. Facilitate a class discussin n cmmn challenges and areas where mst
students need imprvement.
3. Use this pprtunity t reinfrce key cncepts and clarify any
misunderstandings.
Step 6: Teacher Feedback and Summary (5 minutes)
1. Cllect the assessment sheets and review them. Prvide individualized feedback
t each student later.
2. Summarize the main pints f the assessment and emphasize the imprtance f
cntinuus learning and imprvement.
3. Encurage students t make an actin plan based n their assessment results t
enhance their learning in the future.
Step 7: Further Study Assignment (5 minutes)
1. Intrduce the further study task abut researching Chinatwns arund the wrld.
2. Prvide sme suggestins n hw t cnduct the research, such as using the
internet, library resurces r interviewing peple wh have visited Chinatwns.
3. Remind students t be prepared t share their findings in the next class.

After the assessment, the teacher shuld analyze the students' perfrmance and
feedback t identify areas that need further emphasis and imprvement in future
teaching. This assessment prcess nt nly helps students evaluate their wn learning
