(see) frm the train windw, the muntains and frests f Canada lked ,they did nt anticipate seeing such an pen cuntry, and were truly (amaze). 4.The girls were (amaze) t see such an pen yu feel (fright)when ging int the wilderness alne?6.Finally,the cmpany— (head) by its new manager—started t make a prfit.
    ▪ The next day was clear and mild, they were pleased t see the beautiful muntains lking ut ver the city. (Para. 1)
    ▪ Fr bth f them, the thught f crssing the whle cuntry by rail was exciting. (Para. 1)
    ▪ Seen frm the train windw, the muntains and frests f Canada lked massive. (Para. 2)
    ▪ Lking at the beautiful scenery, they bth agreed that it was the mst awesme jurney they had ever taken. (Para. 2)
He lked wrried after reading the letter. When we heard f it, we were deeply mved.
Written in a hurry, this article was nt s gd.
Even if invited(=Even if I’m invited), I wn’t take part in the party.
这样的过去分词及短语常见的有:lst in(陷入某种状态)、seated(坐着的)、hidden(躲着)、lst/absrbed(沉溺于)、dressed in(穿着)、tired f(厌烦了)等。 Lst/Absrbed in deep thught, she didn’t hear the sund. Dressed in a new dress, she lks very beautiful.
Tld that his mther was ill, Li Lei hurried hme quickly.(原因状语)得知母亲生病了,李雷迅速赶回了家。The ld man walked int the rm, supprted by his sn.(方式状语)老人在儿子的搀扶下走进了房间。
Used fr a lng time,the bk lks ld.(动宾关系)由于用了很长时间,这本书看上去陈旧。
The signal given, the bus started. (the signal 是 given 的逻辑主语,因此主句主语 the bus 就不是given 的逻辑主语。)Her head held high, she went by. (her head 是 held high 的逻辑主语,因此主句主语 she 就不再是held high 的逻辑主语。)
