This is a story that happened in the south of Russia. A mother woke up one day and found that her body couldn't move. She was sent to the hospital and soon she knew that she couldn't move because of a sudden illness. In doctors' opinion, she had no hope of getting well.
Then, the son gave up his job, and brought his mother back to the country. He worked there as a farmer and stayed beside his mother day and night, keeping massaging(按摩) her arms and legs.
Because of her son's care, the mother decided to pick herself up. So she kept trying and trying to move her fingers. And one day about six months later, she succeeded!
