    One pssible versin: One big challenge that many students have is the language—they may think they are gd at English, but they are nt used t hearing English being spken at a nrmal speed,they are nt used t English being spken with a heavy accent,and they are nt familiar with many English idims. The best way t prepare is t try t immerse themselves in English befre they g abrad. They shuld watch a variety f English-language films and TV prgrammes withut using subtitles,listen t English sngs,and use every pprtunity t speak with native English speakers.
    Anther challenge may be cming t terms with the differences in a culture that is different t their wn. Lcals,hwever,will generally be understanding that the student is new t the cuntry,and will appreciate attempts t learn and understand mre abut their culture.
