强调句型的构成: It is(was)+强调部分+that(who) 如果被强调的部分是人,可用who代替that。该句型可对主语、宾语。表语、状语等进行强调。如:
I met my old friend in the street yesterday.

思考:可以对谓语进行强调吗?如果可以,该怎么强调?
【指点迷津】(1)It is/was…that…中,is和was由后面的句子时态来确定。
(2)除强调部分是人作主语或宾语时引导词可用who/whom之外,其余一律用that。
(3)判断一个句子是不是强调句型的方法:把句中的it is/was…that/who去掉,看句子结构是否完整,若完整就是,否则就不是。判断下面句子是否是强调句型:
It was 8 o’clock when I left for school. ______
It was at 8 o’clock that I left for school._____
(4)在“not…until…”结构中,要用固定的强调句型“It +is/was + not until …+that+其余部分”,that后的从句用肯定形式。用强调句型改写下面句子:
I didn’t realize she was a famous film star until she took of her dark glasses.
